Well deserved and he flat-out went out there and made the team!
really like his all-around versatility and I feel like he can be a really solid #2 RB for us at some point...

Better then the one they didn't cut, Sermon, who's only still here because they decided he was worth a trade up in the 3rd round. Might also be better then the one we spent a 3rd on this year lol

Kyle proving to himself he doesn't need to spend high draft capital on RB's...again.

If he can make UDFAs RBs look this good, imagine how good he could make a first round RB.
Maybe that's his thought process.

Technically a 3rd round RB these days are first round picks. But yeah, I'm sure that's what his thought process was. But I didn't see the traits with Sermon and TDP as > than his late and UDFA pickups. It's a weird dichotomy because they nail the late rounds with perfection. I wonder if they use a different method.

Mason came in and snatched a job away from Hasty and Sermon like Deebo snatching someone's chain.

It was my thought process as well until the Sermon pick and the TDP pick. Now I'm thinking Kyle should just stick to UDFA RBs and just draft DLine in round 1, OLine in round 2, and skill positions in round 3, trade round 4, for more money round picks - (the 5th round).

Agree 💯%, and to me, he looks like a first rounder - the way he was running in preseason, behind a crap OLine.

I kind of think that perhaps the UDFA's they bring in are possibly natural runners, but don't have the right measurables to have been drafted higher in the draft.

No. Shanny know he still needs to draft an RB high as well, otherwise the UDFA would be just another guy (like Hasty or Ahmed).

Anyone surprised like me Hasty didn't even make the PS?
