No need to waste draft picks on a position where you can find production from undrafted signings and free agency.

Mason wasn't early. He was undrafted.
I think Kyle is concerned about Mason and TDP when it comes to pass blocking. Now you can always bring in Wilson JR for those situations but then it becomes obvious they are passing the ball.

This is true yet we see teams around the league featuring their rooks

Jaylen Warren I saw him in pass pro weeks ago and he was nearly popping dudes helmets off. He's a udfa rook.. like Mason. We just faced a rookie 5th round RB. Jets, Houston, Seattle all rolling with rookie backs. B-Rob got shot a couple times he was starter had the GW TD. Another rook.
I'd rather see him and Price over Coleman

Not sure what you are trying to say. Not all undrafted rookies work out. Some of them have more potential. Some of them are more ready to play. Throughoit the NFL there are probably undrafted rookies playing and contributing in all positions except QB. We should not be playing undrafted rookies because other teams have undrafted rookies who are contributing.

ONE smart dude here...

Stupid Shanny plays #83 and use him as a decoy, when he can ask Gray to do the same.. waste of time.. waste of money..

Then, he uses Coleman when we have Price and Mason who can probably run as average as Coleman..

I don't see Price or Mason being a legit passing threat the way Coleman and Juice are.
Our offense is so much better when our RB's can Moss linebackers and corners.

Nvm. I got him mixed up with that other RB we drafted.

Jaylen Warren has one of the worst pass blocking grades in the NFL at RB.

kyle said he values what a RB can do when he doesn't have the ball in his hands.

You're bringing up Seattle and NJ who have stud rookie RBs, not rolling with UDFAs. Walker wasn't getting much of anything until injuries happened FWIW.

TDP was getting looks until he got hurt. Also it's not like Kyle hasn't played late rd rookie RBs here previously. If you can play and practice well you will get snaps…that has been proven. Where you were drafted doesn't matter (especially at RB).

like I said it's not just the HC's decision when it comes to active on game day. It's the positional coaches in Lynn/Turner and the Docs.

Can't pass protect you're not getting on the field. Period. That's not just a kyle thing but a league wide thing. You should know this.

gray was sick all week and that was reported. Snead played in a whopping 5 snaps and has 3 routes run on the year lol.

Original post was we are hesitant to play rooks as they may not be able to handle the pass down stuff.. my response was basically other clubs are figuring it out.. why can't we?

GRAY was sick all week.. c'mon fellas.. they just wanted to report that so that the SHANANIGANS will have reason to back the decision to use 83 on those 5 snaps..

HOW stupid is that? you sign 83 and use him 5x and pay him while you could have used any other players on offense to run those plays since he ain't gettin the ball?

as for PRICE AND MASON.. HOW do you know they can't pass block and protect, because Shanny's rep put out on the media?

Let me tell you something 85, if those two RBs can't pass block, then you DON'T CALL a pass play!! nyahahhahaha.. it's freakin SIMPLE !!!

BRING THEM IN AND RUN THE BALL !! Maybe, just may be, they can run for 70 yards on a single carry.. or may be, they could have kept the running game going so that

Atlanta's offense doesn't get the ball back in a hurry..

COMMONS SENSE.. no?

He can do it.. matter of consistency and picking things up correct each play. Steelers are happy with this young man. Here are some pass pro highlights.

Like KS says.. learning on the fly.. hope they give Mason a chance to learn and grow with real game action

Kyle loves running on first down so this should be a moot point unless we were expecting JM to be an every down back. Which we're not. Give the kids some snaps.
