Why did they trade away Wilson to Miami if they had no intentions of using Mason or Mitchell? They should have kept Wilson.

Why, so they could not use him as well? Kyle has a CMC fixation that probably isn't healthy for either of them.

It's very odd… what did he do or not do to be sidelined like this. He is a tough physical runner. Why is he relegated to special teams? Something is off…

Kyle falls in love with one guy and forgets to sub as he's calling plays.

That moron Walsh used Rice way too much, imagine the number of SBs we could've won if Rice wasn't such a focal point of the offense.

Yeah. But he also used Taylor….

Yea, the primary guys got their touches even with the ball being thrown less in those days.
Where in the hell is this guy? Just re-watched the Dallas game to see the things this team was doing right to get Ws...Mason was pummeling a tired Cowboys' D in the 2nd Half, getting good gains to help move the chains and keep the clock running. You could see he was making a point to cover up the football w/ both hands whenever he could to avoid the Cowboys' attempts at stripping to try to get back in the game.

As a change of pace thumper back that also can get downhill pretty quick in this scheme, I wish he was being used more. Maybe he's not consistently doing what he needs to do in practice to earn Kyle's trust and get more PT, who knows.

Kyle resting on his laurels, which he often does, thinking that Mitchell's past performance is an indicator of what he'll provide in the future. I'm sorry, Mitchell is toast. I hope Kyle wakes up and takes notice of this and puts Mason as the primary backup to CMC. Mason moves the chains and is a much needed relief because the Niners have morphed into a finesse team. Mason will punch you in the face.

I'd still like to know why 32 ain't playing... how much PASS BLOCKING does he need to learn in order to run for 200 yards ??
KS is going to burn CMC out - so frustrating - get Mason in there.

I guess Kyle's assistant once again did not remind him that 23 has a backup..
Trade him to Miami as the 4th ex-49er RB on their roster. I feel bad for the guy.

WHEN Shanny wins ONE, then you may... just may be allowed to use this STUPID post of yours...

We were winning Super Bowls before we had Rice.. KNOW YOUR TEAM !!

LOL..

You can't stand CMC that much , 22 Touches is not going to burn him out he plays better the more touches he gets he put on the extra weight this year 202 to 210 for that purposes. Travis # 1 for the Jags has more touches coming into this game than CMC and and at the game their fans want to know why he's not getting the ball more this game.. Some of our fans want the 3 string back to get the ball beyond puzzling. The 49ers fans at the game wanted Shanny to give him the ball at the end andwas chanting for CMC.

22 touches is a lot. That's 374 over a season. He's only done that much once in his career. He already has had an injury this year too. There are a bunch of situations where CMC does not need to be used and are pointless touches. Keep that wear and tear off and lower the chance of a possible injury.
More Mason, less Mitchell please!
The 22 Touches is not a lot when 6 of the touches were pass catches and maybe 4 more toss plays. Now if you talking 22 touches of inside zone , dives or power then that's a different discussion. He will take more wear any staying in the pocket having to block DL or Blitzing LB then his touches . I think some games he might need more touches for us to win the game and maybe less some games if we're up big. He's the best back in the league for a reason and I'm not going to worry about a injury when the goal is to win the superbowl and he give us the best chance out of the backs on our roster.
