I like to pretend this is your TL prediction very bullish on the rush yds and a two way player to boot.. wow

???

DID u just pick the Bears?

are you putting money line on them?

Give Shanny some credit, if we lose to the Bears it's because he goes for FG with 2 seconds left in the 4th while 4 points behind..

c'monnnnn !!!

The Bears aren't as bad as the media is telling you, and we aren't as good. I think Chicago surprises us and Lance struggles.

Lol

I don't need the media to tell me how bad the Bears are, I just have to look at their roster. And yes the game might be closer than people expect but not because the Bears are good or we aren't that good but because week 1 games in the NFL are weird.

That would be a hell of a game for Trey if that were his numbers.

And on Offense, we might start a little slow... Shanahan has no idea how the Bears will play against Trey Lance, and he's a rhythm playcaller. I expect some three and outs early in the game. I do NOT expect Trey to turn the ball over though. I expect he might just miss some throws, or be indecisive and take a sack...

But I'm also expecting that Trey will hit a couple chunk plays and he/Shanahan eventually find a rhythm. The hope though is that the defense holds the Bears long enough for Trey/Shanahan to get it going on offense.

I did some reading on the Bears new head coach. He's a long time DC from the Cover2 family and made his long time assistant DC. So they'll be giving a lot of Cover2 looks.
The team is also transitioning from Fangio's 3-4 to a 4-3. Normally this isn't too important since most defenses play in nickel, but the 49ers are known for keeping teams in base personnel (Juice on the field).

So they'll be zone dominant with lots of Cover2. They will disguise so it's up to Lance to recognize the rotation, use his eyes to move middle of the field defenders and hit short throws over the middle, with the key being use of his eyes. Throws to the flat will not be there.

Those things will certainly be key on 3rd down. I see us running the ball 40+ times in this game though. So I don't think Trey will be asked to do too much in the passing game.

Yeah, I don't think the game plan should be centered around Lance throwing 30 times. He'll have to take advantage of any shot plays called and convert those occasional 3rd and 6s. Just don't turn the ball over, manage the game, and get the week 1 road win.

Deebo will have the most impact on offense, Brandon Aiyuk will probably help take the pressure off Deebo and Kittle. But I expect Shanahan to test Chicago's run defense in the first half. Again who the hell on their defense can help Roquan Smith defend the run?? Getting rid of Khalil Mack didn't help them at all. Also, they have a whole new coaching staff so I'm gonna expect them to be off on their plays and assignments. Unless they can come out firing like the way McVay and the Rams did in 2017, but the 49ers aren't the Jaguars.
Question does KS script the first however many plays? Will TL be going off the script vs Chicago?
Kyle keeping 5 RBs. Are the Bears wondering what Kyle will do on offense going into the game...

35-10, Niners.
Really hope this doesn't turn out to be a "fool's gold" game where Maj. Lance has great numbers, gets overconfident and let's Peety screw him up
