This is what it comes down to 100% imo. It's like any job.. when it's your first day.. there are struggles. KS will be dialing it up like it's a playoff game in DAL or GB while Eberflus will be trying to figure out how to correctly put on the headset.

Touche.. I recall the first Nolan W he had a surprise onside kick in that game which worked. I was RollinWithNolan from that day forward
In some sense, the advantage to the first year guy is he has a lot of KS film to review and we don't have as much to go off of..

although true and thats why a lot of rookie coaches win their first game i think the talent gap between us and the bears is too large

Bears claimed 6 players off waivers. Replaced 10% of the team a week and a half before season starts. Who's worried about them again?

This is new coach tactics he wants to rebuild that roster to fit his philosophy not Matt Nagy's. Takes time as in years.. like we saw with KS.

This offense will be sputtering for the first few weeks of this season. We come up on top in this one because the Bears will be sputtering too. Adrenaline from the home opener can only get you so far. The talent gap here is too massive. We'll pound them with the run with over 200 yds rushing. Lance will be 10-16 181 yds 1 TD 1 rush Td.

I think he'll surpass 181 passing yards gonna say he hits at least 220.

CHI front 7 players will be undergoing a noticeable change in how they do things when compared to 2021. It should be simpler in terms of assignment, but it's still a scheme change to get accustomed to. The Fangio 3-4 holdovers were still using 1.5 or two gap stuff. The new 4-3 Bears will be one gapping. It takes time to transition a DLine's skillset to match the new scheme. Hopefully the 49ers can take advantage of this.

Are there guys who really believe Fields is better than Lance?
Fields threw for 1800 yards and 7 TD in 10 starts.
Lance threw for 600 yards and 5 TD in 2.5 games.
And Lance came to play super rusty after a year of no football.
But yeah Fields torched the Browns practice squad so he should be good. lmao.

This is what you call a trap game. Take things to lightly and offense hasn't played a lot together from QB and IOL. If the running game gets going then things should itself out, if not, going to be a long day.

Like Detroit last year? A game defense nearly choked. Good thing defense is better this year and Demeco system is well established.
