I saw a graph of teams ranked by playoff wins since the year 2000. We're tied for fourth in the league with 10, yet we're also the team with the most without a Super Bowl win. Sucks being born in the early 90s and missing out on the true glory days. Hopefully Trey and this defense can get us back to the promised land soon.

I was around for those glory days and I too want another SB win. On the other hand we need to be happy that the team didn't move to Las Vegas and that they've been competitive except in years when the injury bug hit them. Look around the league and see how many teams haven't even been to the playoffs very often. The Bears have one SB victory. Same for the Jets. Two of the largest cities with huge fanbases and they have 2 SBs between them.
Niner fans have nor reason to whine.

A reminder that last year, Bears sucked as well yet the Niners had 9 points deep into 3rd quarter in the game against them and were trailing after 3 quarters.

Thing is they are arguably worse now.

That would be nice, but let's keep In mind with what happened through the first half of last season too.
Anything can happen In sport, especially football. I expect us to win, but I also expect the first 8 games of the season to have many ups and downs too.

The Bears have one of the worst rosters in the league. They Drafted Fields 2 years ago and failed to give him any real weapons. The Bears have done a horrible job getting skill players for the last 50 years or more. They concentrate on defense and haven't noticed that the league has become an offensive league. They haven't had a star QB or really big time receiver since the fifties.
Colin Cowherd had a good line about the bears. He called them a black and white TV in a digital world.
Yeah, but if we go into the game like an AM radio
A transistor radio!

That's true. Our offense was stuck in neutral that game until Deebo took a screen pass (which was thrown low and behind him) 80 yards on 3rd and 20.

On paper I think the Bears might have even gotten worse though,If that is even possible.

They no longer have Khalil Mack or Allen Robinson so yeah I'd say they did get worse.

They look like world beaters tonight though lol. Then again their starters are playing against the Browns backups. Pettis just caught a TD pass. You know it's pre-season when he is doing something.
