Reality will hit him when Bosa, Armstead, Kinlaw, Jackson, Ebukam, Omenihu and Turay are charging at him and knocking him down

A reminder that last year, Bears sucked as well yet the Niners had 9 points deep into 3rd quarter in the game against them and were trailing after 3 quarters.

Thing is they are arguably worse now.

As are we

Ummmm no. Just no. We're better than last year.

How so? Last year the 49ers were a Jaquaski Tartt drop away from the super bowl, this team hasn't played a single down yet and the offensive line has gotten significantly worse with a very young and inexperienced qb to boot.

Defensively we're better upfront and in the secondary, offensively we've gotten worse at Online and the QB is an unknown. Special team can't get much worse.

Our expectations should still be high.
Let's go 49ers!

It was also before the 49ers got back to their identity. We won by 12 and they are worse now.

Last season when we played the Bears we had Josh Norman as our starting CB. Now we replaced him with C Ward. Our offense might be abit worse to start off but our defense will be better. Bosa is 1 more year removed from his ACL injury and Kinlaw is healthy.

Not only that but the defense had several starters out outside of the issue at CB. Hufanga with his first start I believe. Azeez and Dre both out at LB. No wonder Fields ran all over us.

No Kittle on offense. Aiyuk not yet turning it on.

Not to mention Trey's presence alone brings a whole new level to the offense with the way defenses have to respect his arm and legs.

This kid might look downright scary this year. Or not. We'll see how much he's grown.

Niners were 3 plays from losing to a s**tty bears team last year. We should win this game but it's the nfl.... Nothing would shock me

Nah.

We were very lucky of being in the champioship game with that blocked punt the week prior.

The roster of this year is stronger in everything except for the interior of the O-line.
You're only as good as your last game and right now, the Bears look like the better team based on what we've seen in the 3rd preseason games.
