They will prepare as Kittle is playing. Nobody needs to gameplan for there back up tight end. It's not like there game plan will drastically change without kittle

The really cool thing about this game is that IF we beat the Bears, and we should, Kittle or not, we may be the only team in the NFC West to win in week 1. The Rams already got spanked (during a national broadcast ????), the Cardinals should get their butts handed to them by the Chiefs , and the Broncos should humiliate Seattle on MNF.

If we can keep Fields in the pocket I think we win this game easily. The problem is, i think our pass rush might be so good that we leave large running lanes for him to escape. Especially in the rain. I think this game will be close unfortunately. Obviously I hope I'm wrong.

My biggest concern will be if he chucks up prayers and we answer them with PI calls like last year. That is really their only hope.

Same thing I've been preaching. Not that I'm worried about Seattle, but watching them get curb stomped will be beautiful. Having a one game lead over Arizona and LA after week one will be priceless.

Weird stuff happens in Week 1, every single season. I wouldn't count any chickens before they've hatched. Chicago has a new coaching staff, they may not be a very good team overall but that element of surprise has led to some not so great teams and coaches scoring big wins in Week 1.
