Game day baby, with a new starter, demoted back up, and neither good enough to be captain until there's less wobble apparently.

The really cool thing about this game is that IF we beat the Bears, and we should, Kittle or not, we may be the only team in the NFC West to win in week 1. The Rams already got spanked (during a national broadcast), the Cardinals should get their butts handed to them by the Chiefs , and the Broncos should humiliate Seattle on MNF.
Weird stuff happens in Week 1, every single season. I wouldn't count any chickens before they've hatched. Chicago has a new coaching staff, they may not be a very good team overall but that element of surprise has led to some not so great teams and coaches scoring big wins in Week 1.
In the immortal words of the great sage Sgt.Oddball , "don't hit me with those negative waves so early in the morning".

Seems like TL struggles with throws in the outside thirds of the undercoverage.... I look for da bearz to give him plenty of C3 which also gives them an 8 man box to try and stop the run, with lots of post snap rotation

Yea the cold front's moving in just in time for kickoff. Looks like the weather has missed football as well.
68-85% chance of rain with the winds picking up as the game progresses. Everyone adjust your predictions now, please.

I heard they have new sod there so let's hope it holds up. I hate sloppy games.

Field is only thing I am worried about. We get out with no injuries I am happy.

It doesn't seem to matter what they do, Soldier Field always seems have a terrible surface. With the forecast being what it is I fully expect the game to resemble mud wrestling by the second half.

not gonna lie, that game fooled me into thinking Tomsula either taught himself or found someone to teach Kap how to play within the pocket
