The offense was pretty meh in preseason but Kyle was pretty vanilla with it. He never really got the run game going or tried anything out of the ordinary. We'll have Mitchell and Williams back and probably rely far more on the running game especially with Treys mobility.

Yeah, preseason almost never translate to regular season.

Yea I'm excited to watch Fields run for his life from our starting D line. Bosa, Kinlaw, Armistead, Jackson and company all together will be great.
I'm so glad the narrative is what it is. Fans and media are all on the Bears nuts and down on the Niners. Shanahan is probably laughing for what he is about to do to that defense especially without Mack.

Seriously could easily see Fields getting sacked at least 5 times. 49ers starting D is a top 5 unit. Sucks that they will be missing Ward though. Hopefully the safeties don't get beat.

Some data that relates preseason record to winning the Super Bowl. The last SB winner to have a losing preseason record was the 2008 Giants. Also, the 0-16 Lions were undefeated in the preseason.

but if you struggle and are woefully inadequate in areas like the o line.... coupled with the fact you have a horrible coach coaching that group.... they rarely wake up and all of a sudden turn the corner on week one

Receiving leader - Kittle
Defense
Sacks- 7 (Bosa 3, Armstead, Kinlaw, Omenihu, Womack).. 2 takeaways (Omenihu, C. Ward)
FG- Gould 2-2 (24, 48)
Most realistic prediction I've seen so far. No way the Bears score 10+ on us. 3 FGs sounds juuuuuuust right.
Our O will be able to produce AT LEAST 2 TD's + a couple FG's

When did you see the entire starting O line during pre season? Never. Williams didn't play at all and he's only one of the top tackles in the league. The other guys were shuffling around playing different spots during the game.
The O line certainly has some questions since the 3 spots in the middle are different players. There will probably be a learning period in the early part of the season but they could surprise us and be better than what we think.

17-9, Offense has growing pains, but our defense keeps Bears out of the end zone.

Remember the time the Detroit lions won all their pre-season games, then went 0-16 through the season.
Pre-season Is all about preparation and evaluating more than anything.

They haven't had a Fangio defense in a while. He was the HC of the Broncos that last couple years right?

Yea because it's week 1 and the Niners are away. Bad teams always over-achieve week 1

of course trent will help. but he can not play all the other positions. MAJOR question marks at starters and depth... suddenly some think its an issue.lol
