Personally, I think Fields is a better, more polished QB. He didn't have a great year last year but he should show vast improvement in year 2. I hear ya but I'm sticking to my pick here. 17-10 Chicago. I'm a huge 49er fan but even I know they can't win em all.
boooooooo
I know, I think they win week 2 though and bounce back!

I'll take the better coach to win the game.

I'll take the better QB. Not sold on Lance...yet. I can be persuaded to like him, he's gonna have to earn it.

Don't get me wrong I loved Fields coming out. And his week 3 preseason game was impressive. But he didn't face this pass rush and I trust Kyle to control the game. I bet the +7 for the Bears cause I think it will be close.

I agree, it will be close 17-10 Bears, or 17-9 Bears. I think the home team eeks out a week 1 win

I think the bears will come out firing and playing well. They will take the lead and get cocky. Then our defense will take over and lock Fields down.

The love for the Bears all of a sudden because they looked good against a browns team playing no one is comical. There is nothing on the Bears roster that says they will beat this team and the rosters are so uneven talented wise and the Bears are coming with a brand new coaching staff. Only way 9ers lose this game is if they come out lethargic and just flat out beat themselves. Folks acting like this the bears team from the early 00's with Urlacher, Briggs and Tillman on the roster

Do the 2 points come from Trey accidently kneeling in the end zone to end the game?

I think the Bears get this one. It's a road game and Justin Fields should have a good game. I still see the 49ers winning 12 games if Trey can play at least as good as Jimmy in years past. If he can't, maybe 8-10 games are winnable.
I would like to read your strengths vs weaknesses of the Bears vs 49ers, and how that translates to them winning this game.

27-17 49ers.
Lance hits some big plays, but has enough head scratchers and 3-and-outs to keep him humble. Win attributed to YAC and good defense making plays. In other words... same basic description as last year's games.
