My honest prediction is that the Defense is going to do enough to keep us in the game...
And on Offense, we might start a little slow... Shanahan has no idea how the Bears will play against Trey Lance, and he's a rhythm playcaller. I expect some three and outs early in the game. I do NOT expect Trey to turn the ball over though. I expect he might just miss some throws, or be indecisive and take a sack...

But I'm also expecting that Trey will hit a couple chunk plays and he/Shanahan eventually find a rhythm. The hope though is that the defense holds the Bears long enough for Trey/Shanahan to get it going on offense.

Bosa is gonna have 3 sacks week 1 at the bears and stake a claim on this years DPOY and MVP from the start. Jimmy Ward out may be more of an issue this game then our unproven offensive line. Hoping MM or Brunskill starts at RT. I think we will establish the run with Mitchell, and Wilson. I'd bet Deebo scores once. Kittle leads targets, Aiyuk has a couple big plays. Between the pass rush and 3 sticky corners, it'll come down to stopping the run of Montgomery and Fields. Fields will be running for his life. 6 sacks total. SF 31-10. We run for 200+ pass for 200+. Give Deebo and Mason tds on the ground. Kittle and Aiyuk thru the air. We force 3 turnovers. 1 fumble, 2 int.

once we establish the run, we feed off play action

I was going to put 31-10 but it seemed too homerish to me.

The Bears are really bad so it's hard to imagine a loss but these early season games often produce upsets. I think it may have something to do with playing time in the pre season. Good teams often don't play starters much if at all. Bad teams play their projected starters more. Fields played quite a bit more than Trey even though he had a full season under his belt.

The Bears aren't as bad as the media is telling you, and we aren't as good. I think Chicago surprises us and Lance struggles.
