Fro, good stuff, bro. Keep it coming and let's say the beads for Purdy. Man, I have watched pro sports…NFL, NBA, NHL for over 70 some years, on TV and at games, and NEVER have i seen a team as snakebit as the 9ers. What is truly remarkable is that with a rook, untried Qb, we win the game. But as Peter King said , in part, was that we still have McCaf, Deebo, Jauan, Aiyuk, #71 and some other OLs that are putting it out there, plus au Jus, Elijah, and then the D, the awesome 8 man DL (now down to 6 or 5), and esp Bosa…plus 3 fantastic LBs and a D backfield that went from outhouse to pent house. And then, we do have a great HC/ playcaller + a helluva GM. Ok, I'll give mgmt credit, Jed, also.

Whatever, Purdy, is as noted, playing against the best D in the league ever day of practice…so he ain't chopped liver. Still, he played way better than i ever hoped and my hat's off to him.

FTR, I'm at 13-4 also which looked pretty grim when we were at 2-4. I don't think we run the table and make the 13. The 4 you and I are still right on. But i do see this team not just going deep into the playoffs but a good shot at #6. Lot of football to be played yet, but GOAT is in town next Sunday.

I'm sayin' the beads. Again, nice job , well done.

70 yrs? That's awesome man

The doc reminds us that he can dance, he can romance, and he knows his niners football. We are always better when he shows us the way.

When did I believe, partner? Well, when I was a kid, I believed. When I see people giving to others, I believe. But, by golly, today? Well, when Brock Purdy turned to the sideline, late in the game, and said "are you kidding me?" I knew the lies about Santa not being real were just that...petty f**king lies. Santa is real. Tell your kids. Tell 'em if they are old. Tell them before it is too late. Because the play was taking too long to come in, the rookie QB, the LAST IN HIS CLASS TO BE PICKED said to the genius of the modern NFL offensive-scheme set "are you kidding me?" We are ready.

Oh and the defense is amaze-balls.

Merry Christmas. Hug your loved ones. Be grateful faithful for what you have and what we have.

Current record: 11-4

FUUUUUUUUUUUU. 9 times out of 10 we lose that game. Not today. We witnessed a playoff game. Period. Raiders out, we move on to actually participate in the tournament. Oh and did I mention homefield throughout is on the line next week? Now, if you will excuse me, I need to barf.

This thread and OPer has my nomination for Thread of the year. Thank you Mr Fro.

#2 Seed secured. But we have some more work to do. Credit USA Today

We dominated as expected. But I must tell you, I was extremely lucky in my regular season prediction. This season could have easily gone from awesome to terrible. And therefore, this season is a testament to the veteran leadership of the team, the coaching staff, and the steady play of new comers (McCaffrey and Purdy) that have made all the difference.

Current record: 13-4

All stories have a beginning, a middle, and some sort of end. Our story begins with a loss. A loss that was entirely on the Niners. 12 (for 99yds) penalties, Deebo fumble, the RAIN, my god, the RAIN, Mitchell goes down, no Kittle today, and o-line having issues. No, I did not include the Lance INT because that, while something he will learn from, is not the reason we lost today. I had really no problem with Lance's play today. Sure, Lance could have done better, but he showed some things and he was gritty. And he owned his mistakes. He will improve.

Current record: 0-1

Dayum!
From here on out it is mission Hat and Shirt baby.

A game of two halves, really. First half we jump out to a lead, but the Seahawks battled back and ended up taking the lead into halftime. Second half, "they poked the bear", as Nick Bosa would warn you, "you don't poke the bear". The bear just wasn't the dirty play on Deebo, it was how the whole f**king team reacted...even Shanny was ready to go. And that awoke this very special team who are on a very special mission. 3-0 over the Seahawks, a rare feat in our rivalry. A rare feat indeed.

Current Playoff Record: 1-0
Fro's prediction for the playoffs: Super Bowl Champions

Next up: Somebody.

Defense and George Kittle wins championships! Credit to USA Today.

Ugly game, but credit must go to the Dallas defense. They played well and for much of the game they flat out took the run away. The unfortunate injury to Pollard--here's hoping for a speedy recovery--aided our cause, but so did Dak's interceptions. Our defense played very well. Greenlaw had a terrible penalty, but made up for it throughout the game. Big ups to George Kittle who saved our ass! Who, according to him, was thinking about "making it as dramatic as possible". And Brock was Brock

Current Playoff Record: 2-0

Fro's prediction for the playoffs: Super Bowl Champions

Next up: Philadelphia Eagles.
