Mason should be starting ahead of Wilson.

Its kinda just the same old thing with this team and Trey doesn't really change it. At least not yet.

We never kill teams when we have the chance. We had chance after chance after chance to end this game but we always keep teams in it. Any time we go up ten we just hit auto pilot. Its part if the character of this team.

Its still early but we can't overlook anybody because eventhough we might jump out and get a couple possesion lead on a team we'll usually also give them a chance to steal it.

I laughed when people said we're guaranteed to beat the Bears. Dude, when you follow this team for this long, you know there is nothing guaranteed any week.

On paper we should have an easy road to the SB based on talent

... and it's sad to watch a SUPER BOWL READY team being coached by Shanny ... giving the key to a very young talented QB who may not be ready..

had Grappy be the one who played on this game, the SHANNANIGANS will again be calling for his head..

We punted 2 or 3 times in the 1st half before the blunt of the penalties came. Those punts should have been scores and we would have been up alot more by half. Shanny called a conservative game plan for Trey's benefit because he's "learning". This is what we're gonna have to deal with as Trey learns this year.

Deebo fumbled in Chicago territory. We dropped a pick. Those could also have been scores but instead they went the other way. I'm not a fan of dumping Trey for this loss, just like I wouldn't have dumped on Jimmy had the game gone similarly if he was in, which, it likely would have. The whole team needs to be better and more disciplined.

I dunno. With Jimmy there was always alot of YAC with this passes. Seems with Trey, alot of his passes are beyond 10 yards, which is good not saying its not. But in a game like this, maybe those YAC type of passes would have won this game.
we're clearly the better team and it sucks we lost but im not that broken up about it, we'll bounce back next week
Did anyone else notice Justin Fields mean mugging and talking s**t towards the 49ers' sideline?

Trey didn't play good by any stretch, but the entire team failed when they could have put this game away. Put Jimmy in there with the same penalties and the outcome is likely the same.

Take it on the chin and prepare for next week.

To be fair, the refs had an agenda. Who calls holding on defense on a run play?

Steelers won and the niners lose. Get use to this. 😂

Nice job on their Superbowl win. I'll enjoy seeing his s**t get kicked in this year.
At least there were about 25 percent niner fans that showed up to the game....and they were disappointed. Arrow up for traveling fans...

damn like 2-3 hours after the game site still acting up wth ...

He wasn't even any good in this game. He completed 8 passes for 121 yards. One being a blown coverage. And once again our safety misses an easy INT. This time it was Gipson.

I thought it was just me. I wanted to come and rant about GreenLaw but could never get the post in.

Meh. Not super impressed with him. That Pettis throw was one of those lightning strikes moments where everything goes absolutely right for the offense and wrong for the defense, you can't build an offense around that. His tendency to hold on to the football too long will come back to bite him in the ass repeatedly.
