The Packers are an example of a team that actually had their asses handed to them. I doubt that they will play that badly again. Week 1 is just like a football Bermuda Triangle.

Do you all remember that year when that terrible 49er team (wearing all black, I believe) beat that Minnesota (playoff team that year) team on Sunday night in the season opener? I think Carlos Hyde had that epic spin move for a td run. That's besides the point, but I just wanted to mention that we shouldn't get ahead of ourselves. Crazy things happen in the NFL and it's a marathon of a season. We have the talent on the roster and coaching staff to make an epic run. Stay optimistic, it's only week 1!

GB got their asses headed to them against NO on opening day a couple years ago and won 13 games. This loss is unacceptable but it seems to happen every season, it's 1 game 16 to go. They will play much better and take it out on Seattle

That was the start of the Jim Tomsula era. It was also Bowman's first game back. Great game, and it inspired a false sense of confidence in what ended
up being a miserable season.

Also, the reffing was absolute b******t. So many crap calls or stuff that didn't get called on Chicago. That garbage Aiyuk OPI and some other weak ticky tack calls. On the Wilson almost fumble, the defender was literally dragging him down by the facemask.

Yup. I'm watching the Dallas game and I've said "we would've been called for that" 3 or 4 times.

That's my point. Even playoff caliber teams lay an egg against awful teams in week 1 away from home. Only time will tell what comes of this season. We will be fine

We all have high hopes for this team, and it would be unnatural for most fans to come in here and accept this loss. This is true with all fan bases.
If they come out next week and beat the Seahawks, things will be better. But if they lose, expect more pissed off fans posting.
you did NOT watch the game at all.

A classic shot ourselves in the foot kind of game. If it weren't for turnovers and penalties we should have won. We out played them in all other categories. I have confidence that we will bounce back.
if anyone refuses to watch the game and would rather look at a TL;DR post, this is pretty much all you need to see.
