Maybe it's just cause I'm getting older, but some people take this stuff way to seriously. I get getting rev'd up and emotional during the game. I do it too. Heat of the moment type stuff etc, but holy hell guys. It's one game. Don't let it affect your day or life. After the game yesterday I went outside and got some fresh air, grilled some food on the grill for my wife and I and we went about our day.
The amount of vitriol that comes from both sides sometimes is crazy. It's a football game.

If you bet 5k on a weather game, that's a terrible bet.

penalties killed us and feel bears got some home cooking by not being called for similar penalties. Greenlaw in particular was awful throughout the game and his facemask on the chicago RB going to the ground well short of the marker lead to their first TD drive.
Play Danny Gray and TDP next week. Wilson needs to be demoted or only used as a 3rd down back. Bench Greenlaw if he keeps with the stupid penalties.
Most importantly teach Lance how to slide ASAP otherwise Jimmy will be back in.

This game was a double whammie for me since I married into a Bears family. Going into the game they were all like yea we know we suck, we don't trust Fields, yadda yadda. After the game all the calls and texts came.
What made it worse was I was sick so i did not travel up to Chicago this weekend. I stayed home. Meanwhile my wife dressed my son in Bears gear and thought she was being funny. I couldn't throw his Niners gear on since I was away. It irritated me but i'm 34 now and try not to get too emotional about them anymore. Well I got emotional and had the divorce papers laying on our mattress when they got home last night

Good call. Sadly the kid is tainted with Bears gear too.

Worst part of this loss is it was a game that most of us were sure they would win. Now that means they'll need to have a win against a team that they won't be favored against.
When you hold a team to 200 yards and out gain them by 130 you should win. However when you commit silly penalties that keep drives alive and then go to sleep on 2 pass plays that result in TDs for the opposition, you lose your advantage. Kyle's teams seem to have a terrible habit of getting a 7 or 10 point lead and then not adding to it. We've seen this many times and they turn an easy win into a loss. The Niners should have had at least 10 more points in the first half but a fumble and an over thrown pass kept the game close.
I expected Trey to have some good and bad moments and he did. He hasn't played much in nearly 3 years so it's expected that he'll have some struggles. The playing conditions weren't ideal but he did okay in the first half. Not great but okay. He was better than Fields. What I can't accept is a veteran team making stupid penalties over and over. For a team that thinks they're SB ready that's totally unacceptable.

Without overreacting what I saw was an unprepared team. Coaches and players. Chicago had the benefit of no expectations. We gotta do everything better to beat ANY nfl team
