Agreed. Glad we won but there were a couple of series where Jimmy was all over the place with bad throws. It seems some want to flush the past like all is good again. That's not the case. You saw a lot of glimpses of the past in the later quarters.
I understand we want to win and I also understand some thought Trey was going to step out and be a super star game 1. I was totally prepared to take whatever we got even if not making the playoffs to allow Trey to grow. It's no different than any other up and coming qb super star. It took Josh a few years. He threw 5 INT his first 7 games. Fans were ready to shred him.
Trey has incredible maturity for his age. When you listen to him talking the game the guy is football smart and just smart period. I think he's going to be a great one.
I didn't like the play calls. Maybe in time but this was only Treys second game as a starter. He needs throws. He got almost none today.
Don't know what to think now. Another year of Jimmy and Jimmy getting us to a certain point (maybe) and next season a total crap fest and another grow year. Love the team, love the win today, feeling a little season bummed now.
