This is an all-star defense being wasted by an inept offense. Doesn't matter who the QB is at this point, Shanahan needs to make changes right now.
Offense looks fine with the scripted plays, but after those plays run out, it's just hard to watch. Absolutely pathetic showing by the offense again. And losing the best player in football only makes it worse.
We'd be 3-0 right now with an average offense. That's my rant for now.

No they don't deserve better. They let Russ take it from them and didn't stay at home in the middle for his scrambles when he's done that his whole career against us. The D Coord, Shanny, even Fred Warner should know better. When they bite so many times you can only call them STUPID. Teams that don't play Russ regularly put a spy on him. What do we do ? If you want to lay primary blame it's on Jimmy G, Trent getting injured, and crappy playcalling. The D if we want to call them great needs to shut down that playground stuff that running QBs, especially Russ, make. The D could have won the game despite the real obvious failures on O.
