This is the worst 4th quarter team I have ever seen. If they are up by two scores or less in the 4th quarter, you can pretty much count on a loss. Just ridiculous. Pathetic showing.

Doing same and expecting different is Kyle's philosophy. What a guru he is. Pure genius really. We are so lucky to have him.
Love that thinking. So it's either Kyle or bust? Nobody out there can do better. Makes total sense. Thanks.

This loss is on Shanny and this Jekyll and Hyde team is often unprepared to get the job done. Helluva team on paper but Kyle can't get out of his own way.
I hope Jed does something and holds.someone accountable. Sure Kyle didn't fumble or throw the pick bit his playcalling is what got them behind the 8 ball. 3 quarters of inept football and then relying on someone who just isn't reliable in the 4th quarter, historically.
Denver isn't better than Seattle but Kyle doesn't them prepared to win week in and week out. He won't accept responsibility so of course nothing will change because in his eyes, if there is nothing wrong with his offensive play calling, no need to fix it, right?
Only when he realizes HE isn't getting it done will something change until then he will just blame the team and pretend his crap doesn't stink. His offense is the WORST part of this team. I'm amazed he doesn't realize it. It is his game plan, his playcalling, therefore HIS failures.

They didn't even need a TD, a damn FG would have been enough.
Jimmy couldn't even do that, but he made damn sure to gift Denver two points (and we actually benefitted on that since he threw a pick 6 on that play).

thought the broadcast said a head injury?
No his ankle got rolled up on.
I saw that and thought that too, but I was sure I heard the broadcast say it was mainly a head injury cause the roll up didn't look too awful
Looks like Trent's holding his hand in the pic below. But one would think it was an ankle.

Then they go into derp mode the rest of the game? What happens? Can Shanahan really not adjust? If his design plays don't work, that's it? He just keeps trying them and hopes that they do?
That was all rhetorical. I don't care if no one reads this but I'm going to vent. The rest of the league caught on to us. The deebo runs, the quick screens, the Jimmys 10 yarders over the middle. It's all very predictable. Kyle knows it and that's the problem. We have extreme talent in skill position with Kittle, deebo, and Aiyuk. You would think Kyle's deisigned plays would work but they won't because Jimmy is limited.
It sucks Trey got hurt. It sucks Jimmy sucked tonight. Lose lose situation.
People say Jimmy would have won in Chicago, but I think Lance would have won tonight.
Penalties and miscues
No our 3 and outs or get one first down then out are not because of penalties and miscues. Well maybe miscues because the defense causes them. Then Kyle can't adjust and call plays that don't miscues.
Tonight was one of the worst Kyle games I've seen. Quite possibly the worst. Not in terms of scale. Obviously the SB loss was worse but atleast we scored a little more

Exposed as a fraud.
Living off daddy's name and the "genius" label prematurely slapped on him by the media.

He did what he needed to win
He contributed about as much to the win tonight as he did in SB 47.

Very true; however, what's the difference between JG turning it over and playing like s**t and Purdy doing the same? If you are going to lose with JG then you may as well let Purdy give a go at it and see if he's a diamond in the rough or you could stay with JG and win 6-7 games (maybe).
Unless Purdy plays like a probowl diamond in the rough, I can see 2 scenarios from Purdy. He tries to do too much and give us even more turnovers than Jimmy, or running around not so sure of where to go with the ball with a bunch of negative plays, 3 and out.
But I would give him one game.
Again, I ask what's the difference between f ups with JG resulting in a big L and Purdy f ups resulting in a big L? Haha

That's on the coach. Sorry there's just no other way to cut it. If you're a so-called offensive coach, 1/10 under any circumstances with any QB is ridiculous.

Glad we didn't lose Deebo to injury. That's about the only good take from this game
