SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at DENVER BRONCOS - 2022 Game 3

Jimmy G played horribly tonight, and made a lot of bone head plays. but it wasn't all his fault. We have a lot of flaws on offense. The O Line is weak, and when Trent Williams went down, it got worse. There is no consistency to our running game. Outside of a couple big runs by Wilson, most of our running plays were 0-3 yards. Deebo runs were completely shut down. Kittle had no big plays. And with Mitchell out, we have no running back depth, and Shanahan doesn't trust anyone other than Deebo and Wilson to carry the ball. We had WR drops, and penalties on plays that had made first downs. And, as usual. Shanahan got out-coached in the 4th quarter. The guy completely chokes on play calling and decisions late in games. We will never know how well Trey would have done. He may have been able to make a few more plays running out of the pocket, but I think Denver had a very good game plan for defending us, and as others have said, our offense is looking very predictable.

I thought shanny would innovate with 2 lurkers on Deebo whenever he lined up in the backfield. . Nope. he calls a misdirection....for deebo. Instant smother. He should have an answer for that scenario before the game. Does anyone remember a single sit down route. yea, there's no yac....but no one is expecting it eaither. gimme four-five yard play. After a couple completions you have corners playing tighter. Why not try it.
Jimmy has to do better. kyle has to do better.
Onto the next.

Yeah there were other factors besides Jimmy with the offense scoring 10 points. I thought he had time on multiple dropback but couldn't get rid of the ball. Can't tell what he was looking at. The run game tonight was inconsistent and Jimmy usually needs a consistent rushing attack to be effective.

The QB play tonight on both sides was BAD. I've never seen Wilson miss so many throws. Denver won because of his running, not his passing.
Hey, thanks to those of you who visited us at the Orange Huddle this week. It's too bad we only play every four years. Good luck - I'll be sincerely pulling for you the rest of the season.

That's on the coach. Sorry there's just no other way to cut it. If you're a so-called offensive coach, 1/10 under any circumstances with any QB is ridiculous.

ONE FOR TEN. Yes he was running open on one busted play. s**t happens. The 49ers can't sustain offense and it's not even something we've said this year. Try 2020 and 2021.

Yup. Plus, who traded for jimmy? Who failed to develop him? Who failed to trade him? Who had him practicing by himself assuming Trey wouldn't get hurt or get benched? Who didn't give him a playbook? Who didn't give jimmy reps in preseason? The lack of foresight and planning is a concern. This is some amateur hour s**t.

and yah'll said i was CRAE CRAE when I first said KS sucked ... and that was 4 years ago..

Public service announcement. If you think Kyle Shanahan should be fired you think like 9moon. Your welcome

I totally agree with you guys. Kyle Shanahan is overrated as an offensive genius, and they really did mismanage the whole Jimmy G. thing in the offseason and preseason. It was dumb to leave Jimmy G on the roster, but then shut him out of everything they were doing during training camp and pre-season. Not to say that Jimmy is ever going to be great, but I think he would be somewhat sharper if he had been included in all the regular training camp activities, and taken practice reps then.

Warner taking blame saying it's hard to win when the defense has no turnovers. Class act, for not throwing the offense under the bus. Bet Jimmy doesn't take ANY responsibility!!!

Either does the head coach. He leads and is responsible for the worst part of this team.

Jimmy blamed only practicing 1 week with the group and not being able to get in rhythm

I didn't watch, was driving. Did Kyle once mention his responsibility for having this team prepared to win or did he once accept blame for the loss? If he didn't, he's garbage.

His game planning is why they lost and will lose more. Until he accepts responsibility for a loss, nothing will change. He won't fix what he doesn't think is broken.

That was Alex Smith's stat line every game in 2011 even in the Playoffs.. or 99% of the games.

But of course he had a great special teams and Defense... but also a better Head Coach. And Gore.

Jimmy could've not given away 2 points like a potato would've been nice

Why would you keep him around and give him the team gameplan when you think he's going to Washington??

That was BS, Washington rejects the assertion that they wanted Jimmy. HC Rivera basically refuted it.

He knows this league is a joke. He's gonna take that money, f**k these porn stars and laugh into a life of luxury.

Good for him.

True.

Yeah, just the media being the media.

In any case, they kept Jimmy G isolated because if he ended up with any other team as expected it was a slight gamesmanship advantage. Everyone knows this. The way Jimmy G ended up staying in SF is frankly weird and unexpected.

If Jimmy doesn't start playing better than tonight it will have made zero difference anyway.

Man I miss Harbs

We were always competitive and elite. Worst season still goes 8-8 with turmoil from the FO.
