I don't see how anyone can pick this team to win. The Giants are playing better than the 49ers right now.

Look at what the Raiders are doing to the Broncos today, a team that beat the 49ers last week and embarrassed the 49er offense.

Raiders are up 22-16 in the 4th and scored more points in the first half than the 49ers did all game.

49ers are going to have a long season of losses and embarrassment

I just don't see us winning this one. Rams broke the curse in the nfc championship so it will come down to qb play. It's a gun fight but we will show up unarmed.

Seahawks beat the Lions 48-45 in a shoot out so what's your point, that a team's performance during the the course of the season is all predetermined by one game? If they play poorly against one team they should be expected to play poorly against every team?

If that were the case the season could only be 4 games long. Get enough of a sample size to create a baseline then write an algorithm and let a computer calculate the rest of the outcomes for the remainder of the season. Think of all the wear and tear it would save the players. Four games and then straight to the playoffs. Who needs to actually play out the season.
