Alllllright ladies and germs, here's your weekly review video. As always, I don't cover every play. We cover key moments and examples of themes throughout the game.
The defense was dominant, DeMeco Ryans better get a head coaching gig next year and Kyle Shanahan started to get in a groove as a play-caller.
Was great to wash the taste out of our mouths from Sunday night.
The Sky is the limit for this defense with this coordinator. So fun to watch.

Your standard terrific , JD and thanks. Watching you draw up cover 6 , cover 2 and 4, and then see the play thru it…that is good stuff, really good. The other thing that was really notable was the OL blocking AT THE 2ND LEVEL. Man that was impressive on virtually all our big plays. No question the Deebo thing was otherworldly, but the OL blocking away from the LOS essentially made all our big plays. And yes, Kyle did really produce a bunch of great play calls.
How we got away with that OL not giving up a sack was a "murkle" …but that is what a great HC/OC is for…to patch up the weak link, the OL, and make it usable. And Mon nite, kyle did exactly that. Also his running plays with blocking at 2nd level was his best ever. It may have been a one game outlier, but it did show what we are capable of. What more could a fan ask for. Thanks for your work on the video and breaking down the really big plays JD, you are the best.
Honestly, what i think kyle did here was to acknowledge our weaknesses, and then coach around them…while knowing our strengths and coaching up to those. Best game this century for our guys, IMO. Same for kyle.

How come you didn't show Jimmy's miss to Jennings at the end of the half?
JK.JK.
P.S. Game manger Jimmy = a trip to the NFC championship at least. I liked his decisiveness this week and no turnovers which was huge. If Kittle catches that TD I think this game looks even better.

I agree, Manscape provides more protection than what Stafford got. Now, on to the rest of the video.
(BTW, I think you tried to place a banner at the lower-right corner of the video but most of it appears to be cropped off)

Excellent video and it's not just because the 49ers win. Love the mentioning of delayed blitzes and how that is the counter to all these check-releases by the RBs. As a zone dominant team, seeing offenses check-release and chip block really makes a difference. And speaking of making a difference, having a CB like Mooney really allows the defense to do some cheating away from Mooney's side.
A good example of this was the play you cut up where Lenior defended Kupp on the Sail concept. That's a zone beater and 49ers dialed up man. At that point, the best two routes are Kupp on the Sail, and ARobinson on the backside Dig with ARob's Dig being the better of the two options. Stafford never looked ARob's way because there wasn't trust that ARob can beat Mooney.
off topic: does YouTube count it as a view if you embed the video within a thread like you did? If not, then just post the link and have folks visit YouTube.

Man, even though Kupp did technically put up numbers, Warner and Lenoir clearly made life hell for him and worse for Stafford

It does because as an embed here it's considered a monetized platform. I always check the box to only broadcast on monetized platforms where it'll track it in YT and the ads will still come up.
