They were 22nd in pass attempts and 14 in pass yards that year vs 2nd in rush attempts and 2nd in rush yards

Appreciate that. They were still pass-first to set up the run vs. run-first to set up the pass; philosophy choice. They did have Hearst who was a freaking stud though. I was crushed when he broke his ankle.

Not really. Maybe the 98' team aligned more with that philosophy.

Was kind of hoping they'd let Womack play outside and keep Lenoir at slot. But I see why since Lenoir has experience at the pro level outside

Not sure if happy for Lenoir's development or disappointed that Ambry didn't get the call. There's no shame in not playing over Mooney and Moseley, but if Ambry is also behind Lenior (at outside CB) then that's kind of a bad sign. Let's go Lenoir!
