That was fun. I miss this old school WCO pass-first offenses.

They were 22nd in pass attempts and 14 in pass yards that year vs 2nd in rush attempts and 2nd in rush yards

Appreciate that. They were still pass-first to set up the run vs. run-first to set up the pass; philosophy choice. They did have Hearst who was a freaking stud though. I was crushed when he broke his ankle.

Not really. Maybe the 98' team aligned more with that philosophy.

There's a version out there with Journey "Lights go down in the City"… good stuff!

If that happened today it would be roughing the passer and PI 😵

KC is going to ass rape us. We need this win and skip ahead to LA and hope we can get into the bye at 5-3. Anybody that thinks we have a chance against Mahomey needs to lay off the pipe.

We would have a very good chance if our defense was fully healthy.
We would win by at least 1 score if our D was healthy. Easily lock down the chiefs average wrs and Ward can limit Kelce

Didnt the Colts beat them?

Why even play the games with this attitude?

Yup

It's been a hundred years so I'll defer to your memory on that one. Kyle's the first run-first "WCO" offense I could remember. Maybe not.

We would've won two SBs already if Garcia was playing in this offense. He was a good quarterback for us….

Dang i miss that big son of a b
Sounds like Lenoir will be starting on the outside. I like the guy and I thought he was looking okay there at the beginning of last season before being benched.

Was kind of hoping they'd let Womack play outside and keep Lenoir at slot. But I see why since Lenoir has experience at the pro level outside

Not sure if happy for Lenoir's development or disappointed that Ambry didn't get the call. There's no shame in not playing over Mooney and Moseley, but if Ambry is also behind Lenior (at outside CB) then that's kind of a bad sign. Let's go Lenoir!

Yeah. After the way he closed out last season I thought he'd firmly cemented himself within that DB core. But then watching preseason I thought he looked awful. KS said he's been improving the last fees weeks so Hopefully he can rebound.
