This is how almost every trap game starts
they do, but recent injuries might get them focused
Too many injuries mounting up. And its a mobile QB, so defense cant just pin their ears back and sack the QB. It's gonna be harder than it looks.

I was 14 years old. That was our Super Bowl year. Last time we won one. Damn that's sad…

Bosa should rest this week. Don't take any chance with that injury. Heal him up.

It wasn't even an injury. He felt tightness and they pulled him just to be cautious.
Falcons were our trap game in 2019 which forced the week 17 game vs Seattle to be for the division.

Hopefully the bulk of the players on the roster that season remember that and we take care of business even with the injuries.

Shannhan said yesterday he wasn't feeling well. Ii think it makes sense to rest him as well groin injuries can get worse his brother has a groin injury and is out for several weeks

hopefully he will be back for the chiefs at home
Falcons traded Deion Jones the same day another Linebacker got hurt. This should make moving the ball easier.

That's one of the differences in today's game vs the older NFL. Players came out when they were actually hurt and couldn't play. Now they come out because of tightness as a precaution. They feel a twinge and they go to the sidelines.

I am going to assume Bosa and every other professional athlete knows their body best and he knew something was up.
Falcons played the bucs tough. This is in Atlanta. Too many injuries. Back to back road game.

That's probably true but that's not my point.Players fear getting hurt more now than they used to. Maybe it's because there is so much money involved. It's also harder to cut a player now because of the rules so they don't fear that quite as much. There's a difference between a little tightness and a mild pull or strain. Players used to play with broken arms and even broken legs (Jack Youngblood).

It's a different game now.

I would personally prefer Bosa to be proactive in protecting himself in a game we frankly didn't need him in, than getting hurt unnecessarily. It might not always align, but in this case his best interests are the team's best interests--him being healthy and able to play for the long haul. It should go without saying his availability late in the season and especially in the playoffs (knock on wood) is of the utmost importance.
