SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS at ATLANTA FALCONS - 2022 Game 6

What drives me bonkers is the 3rd and 1 play to Tevin Coleman with GREEN in from of him to the outside AND a lineman blocking out in front. Then this idiot decides to cut it inside and collide with a defender.

USE YOUR BLOCKER RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU!!!

I saw money throws all day.. deep outside the numbers to BA.. holding on Jake
deep to Ray Ray bomb dropped
downfield to Charlie also dropped

not clean.. ugly football taking away big plays in the pass game.. JG put it on em.. we dropped / held our way to the loss.. that and Wilson gift wrapping them a TD was the game.. add in they control the LOS and clock vs our D front

moneys throws.....look at the scoreboard.

He can't throw and catch em by himself.. the 2 drops took away scoring drives. The hold did as well most likely. Could be looking anywhere from 9 to 21 points off the scoreboard with those 3 plays.

Typical boo hoo from the Jimmy cult.
What a clever and well thought out rebuttal

Yah, play the 9ers at full strength and not with this practice squad defense then we'll talk. Not you Silky just Falcon fans. lol

I hear you but with SB caliber teams you don't even hear about their injuries. You just see they win. Falcons played up to our level and punched us in the mouth. Our offense theoretically should have outscored 28 pts, but they didn't. You know why? Because they are standard. They got down 14-0 and had to scrape to get back to 14-14. It wasn't our game plan and it showed

This team isn't a SB team even healthy.

I'd like to at least get to see it to find out!

This team with all the intended starters would have been a contender for sure. Now, how that shakes out with bringing along a young QB at the same time was the unknown (and will be again in 2023). But the starting defense seems to me to be talented enough to have kept us in all these games so far while Lance and the offense figured things out. The disappointment with the current offense is that they aren't figuring things out without an inexperienced young QB holding them back and yet are having these consistency issues. I can't even point to the OL because even with the young Gs and backup Ts playing a ton of snaps they've been good enough to get the job done (Brendel's terrible 4th quarter aside).

of course when you have this list of injuries to so many prime starters we're gonna have to play literally perfect to win and we did far from that. I felt the team did a good job coming back from 14-0 but offensively there's issues when guys are dropping balls that Jimmy is putting there for grabs.

defense didn't play well enough and neither did the offense including drops Wilson and Jimmy's usual INTs. This team is built to win around defense and a strong running game which neither were the case today. Peace hope they can upset kansas like the colts did

I'm not confident this team can stay healthy enough, long enough, to win. I'm just not. We have the Chiefs and Lambs up next. If we don't win those 2 games we're done for the season. The 2nd half of the season is much tougher. And with the injuries we're having game after game I just don't have the confidence this team can win. I just don't.

This team isn't done at 4-4 heading into the bye. It's the f**king injuries they need to figure the f**k out

And just how do you propose Lynch and Shanny do that. This is deepest team we've have in years. The team is down 9 Starters going into the game, 7 on defense. Just how do you figure that? Injuries are forcing the depth to carry the team. That's not good no matter how deep you are. Something's not right with this team. Year after year we consistently suffer multi game/season ending injuries to MULTIPLE key starters and are left with playing the season with backups and burning through depth. Then, when the backups and depth is playing lights out THEY get injured. Something's not right with this team.

So I really don't have the confidence this team can stay healthy long enough to win. Until I see different my confidence is pretty shot at this point. To be sure, if this team is healthy I have SB expectations. But year after year the story is the injuries. And now this season Injuries are, yet again, the story. It's getting harder and harder to be confident.

There's no way to "figure out" injuries beyond what Lynch and Shanny have done, IMHO. I think an outside consultant is needed at this point.

Man f**king relax I know you can't just fix injuries. They need the current starters who are playing to stay healthy and the hurt ones to get healthy. 🙄

I am relaxed. I'm actually clear in my thinking. The current starter, while good depth, are backups for a reason. The Falcons basically played a B-team defense, B/C-team OT's. You're not winning when you have to rely on you B/C team for wins.

Exactly! No other team and I mean no other f**king team in the league has even close to the amount of injuries as we do to good/great starters not just a regular guard that sucks or a back up center when the starting center wasn't that good in the first place. I'm talking about impactful players on the number one defense in the NFL! Not to mention two tackles on offense a running back this is getting f**king ridiculous!

Defense is when healthy but the O isn't close.

Yup. A lot of people in here don't want see him for who he is.

"Who he is" changes week to week it seems.

Week to week?
Or Half to half?
Or Qtr to Qtr?
Or drive to drive?
Or play to play?

You don't know what you're going to get, so just hope your defense plays well, and you don't fall behind.

More delusion guys right here.

What kind of QB would you say Jimmy Garoppolo is?

Don't hide now Kolohe.

Answer oh non-delusional one.

this poor decision happens when we keep signing players because of their familiarIty w/the offense but IQ be LOW !!

We drafted Davis to be POUNDER and Mason made the team because of the plays he made during preseason..
Damn excuses. Did you think we were losing on Thursday or Friday. Probably not. Should have won despite injuries. It wasn't out manned. It was missed tackles bad penalties dropped passes. Stfu about injuries. Everyone praises this team for its depth now that depth gets tested and we lose to a middling team with Marriotta at qb
What's funny is that the Falcons beat us with an offense that Kyle dreams of running with Trey.

I had my doubts with having so many defensive starters out. It was a winnable game, but far, far from any kind of guarantee. The Falcons are a decent team if their offense can control the clock, which is exactly what happened.

Afrikan, it's been over half a decade.. everyone knows who JG is. He played well. We gave up near 200 rush yds. We took away some of his best throws with drops and holding. If you are asking for Jimmy Freakin G to put on his cape and Josh Allen us to a victory.. do you not know by now.. that he isn't Josh Allen? Is this some gotcha moment lol?

You're not wrong. We need receivers that can catch and running backs that hang on to the ball.
Curious to see why the people upstairs flagged deebo as a head injury, etc, to make him come out of the game on that third and 1 at the end of the game
