When a road team is favored, That is a sign that there is a big gap between the two teams right now. If this was in KC the spread would probally be about 6.5

At the very least we will have to contend with a more fired up than usual J. McKinnon. It's the McKinnon revenge game.

That's what I fear most about playing the Chiefs.

That's right, but the spread of 6.5 is wrong. If you take two equal teams on a neutral playing field its a pickem

Moving them to their own field moves the line 3 points. So if this game was played on a neutral field you get kc by 6. Therefore the spread if in KC is -9.

Me as well. He wears #1. Clearly this means he is their number one player. It all goes thru McKinnon in KC.
If we lose this game because of McKinnon we have bigger problems than we could have ever imagined lol.
C Ward needs a revenge game. He's been practicing vs Mahomes for years. So decimated by injuries it's comical

Correct. Essentially KC is viewed as a TD favorite on a neutral field, meaning Vegas views KC as a legit contender and the Niners as a middle of the road team.

it is what it is…
We should just stop this discussion and start the Rams pregame thread already.

So I guess the team will be honoring the 2012 team at halftime. Some may not agree but i don't like it, they lost a super bowl and shouldn't be honored. Goes to show how far this franchise has fallen since its dynasty years. same goes for 2019 when that teams anniversary comes around

Yeah, f**k those guys. Utter trash. Should be shot at midfield instead of honored. Guilty of being the worst scum ever. How dare they show their faces around these parts. Better for them if they had never been born. /s

Not honoring them would be some real petty b******t.

I think the great Eddie Debartolo once said in an interview "show me second place and I'll show you a loser". It's nice to know that fans have stooped to that level now. I think a lot of you guys became fans after 2000…

Seriously…growing up I was taught that the 49ers were the golden standard franchise that every sports team should replicate. And anything less than a championship means nothing. I understand they had some really difficult years in the mid/late 00s but it's just a shame to see that the franchise and even the fanbase is willing to accept being a bridesmaid, no wonder why the ownership/fo never pushes hard for big FAs to help close the gap. I don't look back as those Harbaugh years as some great successful run, just teams that weren't good/lucky/healthy enough to seal the deal. Specifically that 2012 team got punched in the mouth by an old and inferior Ravens team until the blackout, and even when they were 5 yards away from taking the lead with the best running back in franchise history in the backfield giving Baltimores defense fits. Harbaugh choose 3 straight passing plays because he wanted to prove to the world that switching to Kap mid season was a genius move instead of just winning the game . That is NOT something that a team that was once the Golden Standard should ever honor. There's "7x NFC Champions" imprinted on the right side of the club section building at Levis, that is all the "honor" that 2012 and 2019 teams should ever get

the franchise SHOULD honor the 1994 team every year until the Yorks can finally win one of their own.

Awesome and Jackson limited

The coach does not expect the following players to practice on Wednesday:
  • DL Arik Armstead (foot, ankle)
  • DE Samson Ebukam (Achilles)
  • S Talanoa Hufanga (concussion)
  • OT Mike McGlinchey (calf)
  • CB Charvarius Ward (groin)
Lol is it too much to ask just have some semblance of health ?

From one easy victory to another
How is Jimmie Ward going to be able to tackle anybody with that cast on?
