Transplant one Ward's healthy groin to the other. 49ers need that Ward more.

Agreed

We are gonna need C. Ward for this game. Sucks he probably won't play.
Could be ugly at CB Sunday.

Good thing Chiefs Wide Receivers are mediocre AF

The people who tweet/talk like that will bring up that the person didn't have time to practice/prepare gibberish when things go bad

Their QB isn't
i think Mooney Ward will do everything he can to go this sunday (team dr permitting) revenge game
I understand Vegas has some method to this madness, and so somehow, the Chiefs are favored by less than a FG against the 49ers. Really?

Throw in some big defensive names on the 49ers, and say "they are back", when all that happened was players are able to practice, limited for most. You can't come back from injuries, practice for 2 days and suddenly become your previous best. The body doesn't work like that. If these players are truly healed, it would take at least 2-3 weeks for them to get back to normal, assuming no lingering symptoms.

Chiefs win, unless (a) happens and (b) happens and (c) happens + a bit of luck. The 49ers schedule is OK from here on, very winnable games, so a 9-8/10-7 record is achievable/playoff birth.

So you're telling me you've never seen a guy miss games due to injury and play well the moment he steps back on the field? So when they come back from injury they suck for a few weeks? And if a player is limited because he's just coming back and they just wanna maximize and make sure he's healed means he's gonna suck that game? It's not like these guys coming back missed a whole year of football with serious injuries

The assumption is that most players don't practice or perform any physical activity while they are injured. If you are resting for 2-3 weeks, and then you are allowed to practice "only on Thur & that too limited", it says a lot. I don't know, end of the day, just because a player is on the active roster "after an injury", doesn't automatically mean he is 100% recovered. I presume the training staff/coaches will balance it all out, and given it's not the playoffs, play it carefully by ear.
