That's not a good sign. At all.

Wasn't he activated last week too? This has more to do with Moseley's injury than C.Ward

There were big plays to be made against ATL last week. We just didn't execute well enough. This game is winnable if we don't turn the ball over and if we stay disciplined.

Along with this , there is an added emotional, or psychological bump for the 9ers, and that is a guy in the locker room, as well as on the field who demonstrates the ultimate in being the best in the business. He runs crisp routes, he always has his head in the game (you don't see drops, motion penalties, or other screw ups that we have seen in abundance this yr.) I see a guy who just makes the team better by being the complete professional, and thus makes our guys play better both physically and mentally.

My recent posts re: guys not being in the moment, nor playing smart, ie, near perfect football…really have just improved immensely by putting a guy amongst them that does play to the best of his ability plus playing smart football. You have a guy like that on the field/team, and playing smarter, harder, quicker and it just kind of osmoses onto other players…both O and D. Not saying he'll be a cheerleader, but a true professional, who will make his teammates want to be the same also.

This was just a great move by John and Kyle. At the end of the day, i expect the entire team to play better…up to the level of McCaf. I could be all wet, but that is what the big takeaway is. Sure he gives us an A+ WR and a A+ RB. But it is his professionalism that gives us the biggest boost. After the screwups we have had in the first 3 losses, we are definitely in line for another leader, this one who demands guys play both physically and smarter.

9ers 24-23 over KC in a squeaker. No dumb drops, no holding, no offsides, no motion penalties, et al. 9ers have their heads in the game for all 60 minutes. Do that and we win…but our new corners are going to have to play mistake free football also.

Good post, paso.
Dammit! I had to go to DC for work and now have to wait until evening for the game? This is b******t! How do y'all on the east coast maintain sanity?

No. Its not. But the offense is going to have to prove they can carry the defense at some point this season. Expect a high scoring game. Possibly a 2019 saints type game.

I would LOVE to see Kyle just go YOLO one time. Just to see what happens.
It's not Kyle lol, it's up to our qb and what he sees

You really aren't understanding this concept. Whatever Kyle dials up, specifically with the primary, Jimmy is going to go for it most every time esp. on those lower % calls...lots of timing and trust with those.

I'm not talking about coming off that for 2nd and 3rd progressions. So it STARTS with Kyle. So if Kyle dials up a YOLO scheme, you'll know it.

Jimmy didn't just decide to go deep to Aiyuk, Woerner and Ray-Ray. That was Kyle specifically dialing them up.

I'll allow it.

BTW: John Chapman brought up a great point, aside also referencing our own JD re: CMC, but he noted how ATL attacked us was inside the DL with the run (built for power inside) and in the passing game, attacked the 3rd LB. First it was Burks. He failed so they tried DFF. He failed so they tried DJ as the third safety there. He failed. All this with just 14 passes and the QB running.

They simply located our two weaknesses and attacked them all day. That could become a blue print for those teams who CAN run inside.

Our D is going to get absolutely torched with all the injuries we have right now.

is Javon Kinlaw and his 75 year old knees playing?

Does Jason Verett have any chance to play?
Jeff Wilson Jr needs to hold on to the football 🏈 he is a fumbling machine

Just talking out his ass, dude missed only 1 practice on wednesday. Unless he has symptoms again tomorrow he'll play. It's not even likely he'll miss the game, it's Mooney I'm worried about even tho reports stated he was moving well but knowing our luck he'll be out as precaution
