who cares? he's a FF guy. they don't look at the game in real terms.
lol I'm not sure why you guys hate FF so much. Literally every guy I know plays fantasy football lol...
i dont hate FF guys. i play.
but these "experts" view the game from a completely different lens and it usually has nothing to do with how you win real football games.
My issue with twitter guy is he said CMC solves zero problems for the 49ers. I say he solves the problem of Jeff Wilson playing the role of a starting RB. I don't like RBs that have ball security issues. He has a history of fumbling and that's a non-starter for me. If a RB can't hang on to the rock, then get off the field, because that's a problem.
My bad for thinking twitter guy was unverified. I didn't see the checkmark but it's there.
I 100% agree with the bolded.
CMC has the ability to change direction in a split second and can make guys miss. He is like having another Deebo on the field when it comes to YAC and YCO. I am curious how defenses are going to key in on two YAC monsters with one in the backfield and one split out? Deebo and Jimmy have a real connection on that quick slant but teams are really keying in on that this year. Now we have a YAC monster coming out of the backfield on that slant flat concept. Pick your poison.

Ok with this trade. I hope we dont ask him to be the bell cow RB. When healthy we have a good RB stable. Just concern with his injury history.
We are putting alot of resources into the running game. Time to dominate. No excuses.

Bingo!
I joke about QB's and skill positions transcending the OL but in this case, CMC actually can make them look better than their blocking and help us tremendously in first down production.
Then, like you noted, there's endless ways to use him in the passing game including his excellent skill set in pass protection while still being able to flare out afterwards as an outlet.
I'm excite.

No way we keep mitchell on the bench when he is healthy.

He's so short. JG throws "high" to Deebo. Imagine CMC. LOL

I'm excited for Cmac but I think we overpaid. The FO is not afraid to overpay .. which to me is not "courageous", it's just dumb.
We're going to paying Juice and Cmac around $18M combined. The opportunity cost is, say, an elite edge rusher. Imagine adding someone like Von Miller instead. And this isn't even taking into account the draft picks.
Just because we can use flashy rhetoric like "offensive weapon" doesn't justify the cost. Running backs have short shelf lives and are way too interchangeable. Obviously I am excited to watch him play, but I think this is a dumb move. Hope I'm wrong.

My thoughts are if he's healthy and we can keep him on his feet, we'll be fine, if we can get all of these damned injuries under control. Last year the guy was playing with a f**ked up throwing hand and shoulder that required surgery. If f**kin Trent Dilfer can win a Superbowl, there's no reason Jimmy can't. Not that it will be easy, or non nerve wracking, but it's far from impossible with the defense we have, if we get most of it back.

Does he understand that not running the ball well IS our biggest offensive problem right now? Would the Giants be 5-1 without Saquon? Not likely. That's how much a special RB can lift a team. And he does not catch like CMC, so I'm gonna respectfully disagree with this take. Once he's comfortable in our system, the rest of the league is screwed.
