CMC, Elite RB who will start!

CMC will be a good addition once he gets fully integrated into the offense. I wes surprised he was able to play as much as he did without any practices and only knowing about 20 plays.

.....Jimmy Garoppolos do?

What does this have to do with anything.

Elite qbs, elite defenses and dominant olines win superbowls. We trade for a rb when we have much more glaring holes.

He did not disappoint in his debut that's for sure.

We may have more glaring holes but I didn't hear of any top tier center or interior lineman tha twas available. Lynch and company have been criticized many times on this forum for not getting some of the premier players when they become available. Now they get one and it's not a smart move?

The draft picks they gave up were a long shot to make an impact with this team. Go back and look at what they have on the team from the last 6 drafts rounds 2-4. Nick Bosa, Fred Warner and Wishnowsky are the only guys making an impact. Banks is starting to look promising. That's 3 and maybe 4 guys out of 15 picks (they didn't have a 2nd, 3rd or 4th in one of the drafts.) It's highly doubtful that they would get an impact player like CMC with any of those picks. They still have 8 picks including two 3rd and two 5th. Theycould trade up if there was a center, guard or tackle they really wanted.
He looked excellent and brought an element of speed that this team has long been lacking. I look forward to seeing him fully integrated next week.

When he gets fully integrated we'll have some clutch 1sts no doubt
He looks good and should bring life to the offense. I love the idea of him, Mitchell, and Price.

I don't think it's that easy

It kind of is. If they were on the road it would be difficult. He can already read the defense.
Blitz P/U. Outside in/inside out. Maybe specify a gap on a complicated look. And if they are choosing complicated stunt/blitz combos when he is in, you burn them with him.
Limit his option routes.

He knows HOW to do it, just doesn't know WHAT he is supposed to do. unlike rookies who are still learning how to do some things.
He will be this years Deebo and will save the season.

Nice video showing CMC's vision as a runner. 49ers OL has been shaky at opening holes so it will come in handy.

That Bucs CB at 7:40!

Can't wait to see more of Christian!
To an extent yes RB's don't usually win the Super Bowl. Especially in the modern NFL with all the rules changes. It's a pass happy league. But a run and catch RB like McCaffrey can really help you a lot. You would have to go a ways back. But there are RB's who have been big parts of the season run and playoff run and Super Bowl. Terrell Davis, Riggins, Payton, Emmitt Smith, Marcus Allen. Just naming a few. But some who have showed up big in the playoffs and in the Super Bowl too. Usually they are pounders. Like slam them 30 times a game into the pile. CMC is not that type of back. He is used to both run and catch. Kind of an elite slash type of player. He can do it all. But still in Kyle's system he's like having another Deebo. A guy you can line up anywhere. It will help us a lot. But I don't expect him to single handedly win the Super Bowl. That's completely unrealistic IMO.
No question guy is talented. But he can be Barry Sanders and if teams stack the line because the QB can't stretch the field with all these weapons fans will continue to be extremely frustrated.
