My friends, let's not get caught up in the mainstream media narrative. At 5'11" 190lbs, Christian McCaffrey has never been anything more than a 'scat-back'. Sure, he's been effective while running behind premier offensive lines in his early career. Will this translate in SF? No. pic.twitter.com/nFOBr1XLPZ

This guy is really good. Shanahan needs to do his best to keep him healthy…give Wilson or Mitchell(when he returns) a lot of the blue collar runs. I was screaming at the tv when Shanahan had him out there late in the game to bleed clock. Crazy.
CMC in this offense is going to be like what LaDainian Tomlinson and Marshall Faulk were to the Chargers and Rams.
Splitting carries with Elijah Mitchell will keep him fresh, and creative plays with Deebo Samuel are going to be huge.
The trade for CMC, IMO, saved our season. I was thinking that the offense was stagnating because (1) we didn't have our starting RB that could run the outside zone, (2) teams were camping out short routes, and (3) teams were selling out to stop Deebo.
Last year, we struggled in the first half of the season until Shanahan turned to Deebo. With CMC here now... Elijah Mitchell eventually coming back... Deebo coming back... the young offensive line hopefully gelling more and more as the season goes on... there's a good chance for our offense to really come alive.
