I would be shocked if the deal I proposed would be accepted. OTOH, I don't see how we could afford anything more. Hence, I won't be ordering a CMC 49er jersey in the near future.
I can't confirm the timing of a Christian McCaffrey trade, but per league source, the Panthers have "received calls and it will require significant compensation to part with him."

Can someone with Athletic access read the article and see if Kawakami actually has sources or if he's just speculating?
Maybe Kyle is doing the McCaffrey's a solid by creating a market in him. I doubt there will be significant compensation for an aging and expensive RB.

Or maybe…..and I'm just spit balling here…..maybe Carolina is doing CMC a solid by sending him somewhere he would like to go and the 2 teams are working on fair compensation?

I can see that. It's probably as simple as CMC and Kyle like each other and let's make it work since Panthers are in rebuild mode.
