how many RBs run a stutter-go-comeback route? versus a safety

Gotta transition him to wr in a few years to extend his career

He could be a WR

He is not really an elite runner. We are not talking about a special blend of balance/power/speed. He is functional but a bit soft. He goes down easy enough, but does have good to great vision just not tons of wiggle.

They need to think about making sure they get years out of his body, he has a very rare skill set that greatly effects the game of football.

John Madden once praised the 49ers for finding guys like Craig and Watters, saying something to the effect of there is very few things in the NFL harder to defend then a duel purpose skill set that does not tip the defense off to intent.

I don't know how much of that you loose when CMC stops taking handoffs regularly. In a perfect world we are talking 4-8 hand offs a game to keep defenses honest.

It's playoffs. You lose you go home. That means for the first time perhaps no usage restrictions with CMC / Deebo.

10 carries and 3 receptions. So about half his usual workload. It helps that Mitchell is back.

Incredible. What a player.
Could this go down as the greatest trade in Niner history?

At least one apparently. Kyle must be thrilled to have arguably the two most versatile offensive players in the league.

To bad he isn't an elite runner.

That wasn't a trade. He was a free agent.

We traded for Steve Young so I would say odds are very long

What was Steve Young traded for?
The Buccaneers received second and fourth round draft picks in the trade, which they used to draft Miami linebacker Winston Moss, and Arizona State wide receiver Bruce Hill, respectively.

I don't know, I guess when you were replying to someone who said CMC was possibly the best trade in Niner history with a picture of a specific player, I thought you were countering their point.
