Supposedly the Rams also made a play for CMC. How fortunate for CMC the 49ers made the better offer.

I think 49ers wouldn't have made the best offer if not for LA being in on him.
As much as we gave up we kind of robbed them. I can't believe how good he turned out and how much he changes our offense. The run after the catch guys are ridiculous on this team. Just amazing weapons we have all over the place now. He's a difference maker. Assuming he can stay healthy.
mike florio the other day was going on about how much we gave up for cmc, like it was sime ungodly haul that carolina got, lol chill dude, hes been worth ever penny

Yeah, in looking at a draft value chart... even though it was multiple picks, it's still only equal to a high second round pick.
I wonder if being a RB in his 7th year hurt his trade value. I also wonder if there weren't a ton of suitors in the middle of the season that could absorb a $12M cap hit.

Maybe but I like to think CAR would have more respect for CMC than to trade him to a dumpster fire like that.

I think the reason he didn't have anyone going crazy to get him, but us, is cause his recent injury history and his ballooning salary. Not many people want a 7th year rb with injury concerns and a large salary.

im sure glad we did though. Kyle and CMC were made for each other. Lol I hope he gets first team all pro. 2nd at worst.

should have won 3 more super bowls with this dude but didnt because he was not his best when under pressure in the big games when it counted most, great as a front runner, when he would get sacked and then start walking to the sidelines like a caveman the game was always over at that point... never was much of a fan of his game

I don't think CMC would've been be as effective as he is here if the Rams had traded for him. With how the season played out too it probably would've put the rams into even more draft capital hell.

Naw no need for slapping the truth. Young owes his whole career outlook to The current Colorado Buffaloes' Head Coach. Can you imagine how this guy would be viewed if Sanders didn't whole down Ervin and Harper like he did so Young could finally get past the Cowboys? That monkey would be the size of the latest version of King Kong right now. The guy had ugly and horrible postseason failures except the one Sanders season.
