@:55 Brock cool customer in the pocket finding CMC just before edge rusher swiping at him

Absolutely brilliant football player. We are extremely lucky fans.

The only thing that worries me about CMC is health.

If he stays healthy while still being featured a lot, he could run away with the MVP Award and shatter some records.

after rewatching the highlights again.....

We are not getting world class run blocking on a regular basis

A lot of what CMC has done is all about CMC

Right now there is only a hand full of RBs I think would really work the way CMC is working in the run game. You almost need a heads up type RB. A Marcus Allen, Tony Dickerson type that keeps his head up and finds the hole. Those low to the ground, low pad level types (emit smith for example) would struggle I think.

Running backs are a dime a dozen these days, it is a darn shame Matt Breida got away, not that he is amazing or anything...but he does follow the blocks and can catch.
If he can stay healthy he could legitimately make noise in The MVP race as running back during a time they have never been less valued.
NOT that anyone is close to him up to this point, but MCM performs big against the COWGALS, he'll be on the 50 yard line while the rest on 25!!

One note about CMC breaking Jerry's record. Jerry set his record of 12 games in 1987. He only played 12 games that year and had aTD in every one of them. He lead the league with 22 TDs that season. If he had played the full 16 game season it's highly possible that he would have had a 16 game streak.

I love MC but his streak has spanned 2 seasons and is a mix of receiving and rushing. Many more opportunities to score.

FedEx should sign CMC to be their spokesperson.

I think there's still a chance that Elijah or Mason can be that #2. Heck when healthy Elijah is a very good #2 back - to spell CMC. My preference is Mason to develop into that #2 because he's a different style RB to CMC. He's a power back and I've seen flashes of his catching ability. But Kyel's always had a strong run game. He's unconscious in being able to pick up good running backs at the discount double check grocery store employment boards.
Just stay healthy, baby. Not much else can be said. Total stud.

It's always wild to me that Jerry Rice scored 22 TD's in 12 games. Nearly 2 TD's every game.

"He is everywhere you want him to be"
