CMC has given everything to this team. When Kyle ran him immediately after getting clocked in the head Marquise Goodwin-style, I knew he'd never make it through the season here. Kyle is way too deep into play calling to see the HCing things including protecting his players.

Hard to blame him for overusing him after seeing what the offense looks like when he's out of the game.

Let's see what it looks like vs. the Vikings and Begals first. I'm not sure a game in the rain vs. the league's best defense after we've lost 2 of our top playmakers mid-game is a great barometer for what the offense looks like without CMC.

We know exactly what the offense looks like. It looks like a Jimmy Garoppolo offense.

100% this.

I tend to agree. Might be a good idea to find a real offensive coordinator that Kyle trusts to call plays.

Doubt it, jimmy just doesn't throw the ball well or attempt the throws Brock does

lol 2x. Kyle calls the plays. If anything he needs a whisperer in his ear to remind him not to run certain players into the ground.

It's just complete tunnel vision with his usage for CMC.

What? This is totally wrong. Mcc is very important but we are fundamentally a different offense with purdy there. 100%. Love mcc but there are a lot of moving parts here. To me the bottleneck is shanny getting comfortable sharinng the wealth.

Is it tunnel vision or does CMC refuse to come outta the game??

Doesnt matter. 11 defenders are keying on him like they used to do with frank. Its up to shanny to come up with a plan b.

Plan B drops some passes
Plan C hurts his shoulder
Pan D needs to stay in and help block
Any update on his injury?

He thinks he's playing Madden and forgets these players are flesh and bones.

Not sure why we would do that when playcalling is arguably Kyle's best attribute. Kyle already delegates the choice on which players come in during the game to the position coaches.

I wasn't proposing a different play caller. But he needs to have someone with authority to remove players from the game for possible injuries, and to remind Kyle about their usage rate.
