I'm with young2 above. If it's torn, all he needs is to turn his body wrong, (Like putting on a seat belt) and that little tear becomes…a bigger, much more painful tear. Jeez, MAKE him rest . As for big Trent, if that ankle (is it High, anyone know?)is painful, keep him on the bench.

If they insist on playing, fine. Put 'em on the bench and don't let them play unless we really need them. End of season is one helluva lot tougher than this is right now.

I agree, Those are big pieces, but teams do win with less. It might mean we won't drop 30 and blow the team out, but we should still be able to beat the Vikings wihout Deebo, CMC, and Trent.

Of course we can win this game and The offense has enough to get points. Nobody is advocating we can't come out on top if we're short handed. Might not be as explosive on the offensive side but the D can shut them down. The conversation was about letting them heal a little bit with how the season is playing out.
