Christian, you didn't cost us the game, made a fumble but this is more on Wilks.

CMC is beyond mad at himself 🫤

Two straight games with costly fumbles. He should be. A lesser player would get benched for that.

He is a great player, not sure if he should have played with the injury but it is what it is.

The dumbest part of it all is mason could have easily gotten those goal line carries.

It's on shanahan for playing him. He looked not nearly as good as normal as he was getting stuffed most of the game. No surprise at all he fumbled.

Did anybody anticipate anything other than him not being as good hurt, fumbling a carry or two, or getting reinjured?

Guy needs to be protected from himself.
Let the man recover. We need him healthy for the rest of the year.

Agreed, ppl seem to want elite players, then to bench them / not use them, as a precaution
it's simple to me, if healthy to play, he should play

Needs to be managed. Giving him 10-15 carries and 0-5 catches he will make a lot more out of each carry and catch than forcing him into the 30-40 touch range.

There's really no reason to give him the ball on third and short or within the 5 yards from the endzone. Mason can do as well or better in those situations.
What Baldinger said.

As much as I like seeing CMC in there - and he's tough as nails - hoping his usage is scaled back more here and there as still a long ways to go.

Mix in Mason & Mitchell a little more. Not sure what's up w/ Mason...he looks good when he's in there as a thumping, change-of-pace type of back that can take advantage of a tired defense in the 2nd Half. Maybe he's just not good enough with the other areas of RB responsibilities. Would be great if he and Mitchell could take at least a little more of the load off of CMC as the season continues.

I think a lot of it had to do with his pursuit of the record and hope now that it's over we'll see a bit less of him until the playoffs.
