It still feels surreal to see this dude as the 49ers' RB. When it's all said and done, CMC will easily go down as the greatest 49ers' RB ever.

In hindsight he should have been the pick at 3 in 2017. We would have gotten laughed at and taken to the wood shed on draft day by all of the so called analysts and experts (and I remember many who didn't think CMC was big enough to run between the tackles at this level) after the pick was made. But he has proven that those same experts would have looked incredibly stupid in the end because this dude was tailor made for Kyle Shanahan's offensive scheme.

But had we taken CMC, we also likely never end up with Bosa IMO.

In a redraft, Mahomes goes #1 and the 49ers take Myles Garrett at #2 instead of trading down to #3.

Brock may have took MVP off of CMC and handed it to an undeserving Lamar

CMC about to win the rushing title with less than 300 rushing attempts.
On the other hand, with his receptions, he'll have 339 touches for the season.

He's had a couple minor injuries this season, but he was pretty remarkable in staying healthy. I would also argue that he doesn't take the same kind of punishment that a typical bellcow RB would get, running up the gut 25 times a game.

With a couple weeks of rest, he should be good to go for the playoffs. I think he'll be very fresh.

Tom Brady was rested before his Super Bowl runs, Walsh did it for us. I'm
with Bellichik and Walsh on this one. No reason to risk anything on a meaningless game. Let's get reps to people like Danny Gray to see if he can contribute in the playoffs.

And where's Ray Ray at in his recovery? I cross my fingers everytime Bell returns kicks.
