CMC, Elite RB who will start!

Doubt he goes on IR. Just guessing but I think he will miss week 2 and play in week 3 @ the Rams.

If he was going to go on IR the 49ers would have done it before MNF.

This doesn't sound good.

This isn't bad either. This would be terrible if this was the beginning of the Playoffs.

Him tearing his achilles would be far worst.

So far so good with the injuries, but this next game and the game after that is on Turf. Turf is historically bad for injuries. I'd love to have an extra roster spot to see and develop some players for the longer term and at the same time get CMC to heal up 💯%.

I mean they might not have known how bad it was until game time.

im fine with him going on IR and being as close to 💯 as he's gonna be this yr. Long season.

They moved up for Guerendo for a reason. Mason can carry the rock.

gonna have to use all the other stud playmakers that they paid a f**k ton a little more.

Not sure. He's reported a bunch of other stuff though. Who knows.

We don't need to move up a PS player to develop, they are already getting work in going against our starters
Just IR the guy. There is absolutely no reason to rush him back in the next 4-6 weeks.

Can't mess around with Achilles. Let that s**t heal up as long as you can. Putting him on IR also let CMC know he isn't playing. No rushing it or telling everyone he's fine, just so he can play.

Again, I'm worried about Turf injuries. If CMC can't play the next two or three weeks, I'd love to see Evan Anderson get some real game playing time.

Edit: I still remember Jerrick McKinnon having Achillies tendinitis and they let him play after a month and he ruptures his Achilles in the game and is out two years.
