Not uncommon to see RB injuries following a high-usage season. Hope Kyle learns his lesson and does a better job rotating

30 Mason touches incoming

Mason got 28 runs last game. Kyle isn't going to change. He runs every running back into the ground.

It's a shame that we've been such a good team, we should get a coach to bring us back to the dark days

If we decide he goes on IR tomorrow, does the Vikings game count in the four game requirement?

He needs to sit until December

I never would have ever imagined that possibly putting CMC in IR would be good news but that's where I am right now. I had this fear he would come back before being 100% and would tear his achilles and be done for the season. Putting him on IR would allow him to get fully healthy. We don't need him in the 1st half of the season, We need him in the 2nd half and playoffs.

Why exactly do fans believe this? We can easily lose plenty of those "1st half of the season" games which could be the deciding factor whether this team has to travel in the playoffs or not, assuming we make it of course.

That stuff typically lingers a couple months and he may need a couple months rest to get back to one hundred percent or else we can risk a tear. We need healthy CMC not a tentative one the last half of the year

We will have to take our chances. We can't keep giving CMC 95% of the carries for 17 game seasons. We've won prior to CMC and we did that with Jimmy G. We will win with Brock and company as well
That Madden curse sure seems real.
Last year @Minnesota CMC got 15 carries for a grand total of 45 yards

I'm confident Mason can out perform that by a mile

Well looks like the boys will have to win the Super Bowl without him!!! IR him and be done with it next man up!!!
Before last week some homers here were saying that CMC was fine

Maybe not the full 1st half. But the next 4 games the Niners play the Vikings, An injury riddled Rams team that Kyle usually owns, The Pats, and the Cardinals. I think we should be ok the next 4 games.
CMC getting healthy is a great thing. I still can't figure out how you rule Mitchell out for the year with a hamstring before the season even starts. Makes very little sense to me.
