CMC, Elite RB on the mend

It's really a bummer at this point. Best RB in the league . Who doesn't love CMC? I think we can make it to the playoffs but not the SB without him. Hopefully, next season, we take it to Santa Clara.

First off, this whole he will never play in SF again is just silly. His legs aren't chopped off. I highly doubt this was something that just popped up this off season. He's gotta change some things, recover properly and take care of himself better.

Secondly, why can't we win a SB without him? Mason is on pace to rush for like 1,800 yards. Our running game isn't a problem. Sure CMC is a stud and brings more in the passing game as well…but let's stop acting like we don't have legit studs all over the place on offense. Brock is continuing to get better and better as well.

IMO it's the defense that needs to get their s**t together.
In a messed up way, CMC being out is a blessing as it's forced Shanny to start Mason, who is proving he's an absolute baller. I love CMC but going younger and cheaper while sustaining a comparable level of production is never a bad thing.

I think the biggest area we miss CMC is near the goal line. You'd think a bigger back like Mason would have an advantage there, but that hasn't been the case. CMC was so good at finding daylight and running through the cracks in there.

In my case the source of the inflammation is an autoimmune disease. That's why drugs like prednisone works great for me . In CMCs case it may just be wear and tear. What they're trying to do is find a treatment that works for him which is obviously why he went to Germany. They use to use drugs like Toradol but long term use is bad for the kidneys. Jeremy Newberry found out the hard way. He had to goon dialysis's. That's the issue with managing pain. Many drugs work but have long term side effects.

Gotta be careful with prednisone as well.

I know. I've had 4 shots this year and my last tests showed some reduced liver function so I'm off the stuff at least until next year. I've had back issues for over 60 years so I've learned to live with a certain amount of pain.

Lol overreaction much? Misinterpretation much? Lol

Mason is a total stud but he isn't at the level of CMC. Not yet, he might be able to get there. Our Oline and D need to be better. We do have studs on offense, never said we didn't lol. And have I ever been worried about Brock's performance? I mean it's me we are talking about lol haha. Weird how one person posts something and ppl look way into it and assume all kinds of things lol. It hurts us to lose CMC, plain and simple.

My comment was attached to the comment you replied to….it wasn't just directed to you, if you read it, you'd understand that. Relax lol.

He doesn't need to be as good as CMC for SF to have a top 5 running team. No one is saying he's CMC.

you're the one that said you don't think we can get to a SB and are talking about next season

i was late paying my phone bill last month….was that Kyle's fault too?

confirmation bias in full flight

Yes, the loss in the Super Bowl lead by Kyle as the coach caused mental frustration and you forgot about paying your bill.

You got me

There are people coping with far worse things than I am. That's how I cope with it. I tell myself it could be worse.

Anyway I hope CMC can find something that allows him to play reasonably well for a few more years.

Nice way to take my posts out of context.

I was just stating that it's a very long shot for CMC to fully recover from Achilles tendinitis in both legs.
