CMC, Elite RB on the mend

Kyle should activate him for this Sunday if he wants to try and save the season

I think any strategically big move needs to be made accounting for all possibilities. No one really thought they would lose to Rams with Rams missing half their team, or AZ, and yet here we are.

The risk here is CMC tearing an achilles and missing most of 2025 as well. Achilles tear for a RB who relies on cutting and shuffling and churning feet, is near catastrophic.
If you are CMC, you want a ring, but your coming off an injury that often precedes a torn Achilles, do you even come back to this 49er team? I mean this team is done, this season is a waste and the off season will be ugly with people leaving and a rebuilding starting.

CMC only has so many seasons left the way he gets beat up running hard.

He should go to a team that has a chance at a ring.

I rather just put him on season ending IR and save him for next season.
So many cowardly takes in this thread.

Jesus, dude. You are in a cheerful mood. Might as well order your Super Bowl tickets for the Chiefs. Get a nice hat and shirt combo. Maybe a commerative mugg.

I lean this way also

Agree
Let him rest and reset for next year. This team has two many holes and issues to win a SB this year. Would rather have a good pick.
If the rams or hawks pull away over the next two weeks I'd consider IR. We've put the easy portion of our season behind us…. If we are two games back after the bye we've got little hope of making any sort of push. Only way we're getting in is to win the west… no chance at a wildcard

Hard to go to another team with 2 years left on contract.
