His frickin achilles tendinitis is worrisome AF!!!!

I fear that he comes back and looks great for 3 or 4 games. He then blows his achilles and never plays football again.

I hear you, but imo they have taken the most logically caution approach they can take and an injury can happen to anyone on any play etc. Just have to take it one game at a time and CMC needs to be real to himself on how he feels.
Kyle has the chance to do the funniest prank ever on the Fantasy Football community.

True injuries can happen to anyone at any time, but achillies injuries take long AF to come back from and no guarantee it will ever be strong enough to hold up. We can all be optimistic about Greenlaw, but I don't see him coming back this season, why rush it, he was just injured in February!!

They've done all they can at this point. It's time for CMC to test it out in a game and see how it goes. Football players and the front office can't play cautiously. As stated above injuries can happen at any time. Mahomes had an ankle injury without contact last night. Not major but it could have been. Sooner or later they have to try and play. I know my back feels good as long as I don't try and do too much but it can't handle a full workload. Football is the same way. Running on the sideline and working in the gym isn't the same as game action.

Hope it isn't too early to have him play. . He just got that therapy, what, like a month or six weeks ago or so? Would be really cruddy if it was too early, plays a few games then bam, off to the tent and no more CMC:(. Hopefully, that isn't the case.

With a condition like his I don't know if there is a timeline. It's a chronic thing that can flare up and then die down. The only way to know is try playing. If he is in a lot of pin the next day then they shut him down for the rest of the year. It doesn't do much good to wait until the playoffs assuming they make them. He would be really rusty and probably not much use by then.

I would hate to see him play and injure the achilles but the team and CMC need to know. You can't plan an offense on whether or not he can play. It would be sad to see him retire early but this is football. It happens a lot.
I recall Arian Foster, Cam Ackers, Marlon Mack and a couple others that messed up their Achilles and then went down hill after that. Maybe they're not on the same level as CMC, but they were promising during their time and then poof…no more.

The joke already is on everyone that drafted CMC1.1. I'm wondering what I'd have to offer to pry him from the owner though…if he gets the green light for Sunday
