No more injury negativity, come on! CMC is gonna get here and absolutely kick ass and be everything the 49ers need him to be.

He's on a contender now. Different mindset. Different attitude. Different results. Can't wait till Sunday!

I'm sure CMC is glad to get up outta here tomorrow. Haha

I'd be on the first flight meeting Shannahan for breakfast.

CMC and Shanny prolly gonna fall asleep tonight with each other while they're facetime is still on.

I have heard from a few friends of mine who are Rams fans. They all are saying we just got the 49ers version of Colts sending them Marshal Faulk to become the greatest show on turf.

That would be the absolute best case. I truly hope so, but I doubt it.

Some fans are never happy. Every RB comes with inherent injury risk, so roll the dice on the most dynamic one in the NFL? Nah, lets just run 4.8 40 guy Jeff Wilson out there. Great idea.

Well the outside zone is definitely back on the menu again. Can use McCaffrey as a Mostert/Deebo hybrid.

He will get hurt boarding the plane.

That's a s**t ton of picks for a guy who can't stay healthy. Imo they knew the rams wanted him bad and simply overpaid (fits their m.o. too)

That being said IF our damn roster stayed healthy we have a VERY good roster. We need: center, right tackle?, maybe a safety? They have younger guys who are developing now etc. I think this is why they aren't so worried about the draft my next year. I think we will get a 3rd for JG as well.

It's ballsy and I like that. He's a perfect fit- insanely perfect fit in this offense. Fingers crossed he can stay healthy.

no matter what happens this is gonna be a defining moment in the Lynch/Shanny era... my hope is exactly the bolded and we remain in contention even after Jimmy leaves

Lynch and shanny should be fired for this

Eventually yes. Making these moves with Jimmy G still at QB. Now no picks to rebuild the o-line moving forward.

When did the San Francisco 49ers turn into the Oakland Raiders (Al Davis era)?

You don't watch much football outside of SF do you?
If you did you'd know McCaffereys significant injury history.

Yeah trading for one of the best players in the league is a total desperation move.

And he's only 26, some people just love to complain no matter what.

Only because we don't have a Kurt Warner.

Oohhhh, we're still ok with picks including our probowl 5th rounder pick. We don't have many holes on this team. I thought I was going to go on vacation that week and just forgrt about the draft.

Says who? They'll likely still have three 3rd rounders to work with along with 2 5ths and potentially more picks depending on trades.

Gonna be on IR soon enough.

Look at our history, we love our injured players. Not a good trend with a coach who loves running his guys into the ground.

Should trade draft picks for a new training staff! That's a Championship!

Don't forget if all goes well we will get Mitchell back soon as well. I believe it was reported back then Kyle loved CMC in the draft as well.

Yup. Much better to run the plodding, undynamic Jeff Wilson, Tevin Coleman, whatever other miscreant you want to throw out there. Top 4 RB in the league easy. It's not like we got Zeke or something.

And free agency!!! They even have 2024 picks to trade too.
