CMC, Elite RB who will start!

CMC was 4th in yards from scrimmage with a bad team with a bad QB and a below average O line. He'll now be playing with an upgrade at QB, better O line and of course Kyle's play calling that should find creative ways to use his skills. We all hate losing draft picks but when you have a chance to get a true weapon, not just an average player then you do it. Lynch has been criticized numerous times on this forum for not making the bold moves and allowing the Rams to beat us to quality players. Now we reversed the script on them.

I don't really look at that stuff because he was also getting force fed the ball on a bad team trying to score pts.

It will be interesting to see how the offense ties together now. Alot of mouths to feed on this offense.

I have an idea, Jimmy hits the open guy! It is a lot to ask of him.

Should have known Kyle would push hard CMC. He's been trying to get a legit RB since signing Jet McKinnon. I want to see an offensive drive where Kittle, Deebo, CMC, and Juice all get a different type of screen pass.

Even a basic Pro Set with Aiyuk, Deebo, McCaffrey Kittle and Juszczyk would be hard to cover.

So I guess oline is an after thought

Who was available? Who is being replaced here?

Not this year. But next years draft?

Overall this is a very underwhelming OL draft class.

it's wild…You're in here constantly s**tting on Kyle about winning right now and not caring about anything beyond that…and now you're talking about picks lol?

you'd be the first person to s**t on kyle for not making a move.

If you saw my post yesterday I said I liked the move.

It's aggressive, which i like, but I've been asking for oline improvement for awhile.

Okay so I debated that CMC wasn't gonna make the run game elite, I'll probably be wrong lol. I debated it would cost more than what people thought. I was right.

Love the move, love even more that they beat out the Rams getting him.

Not complaining

Not complaining I love CMC and wanted him in the draft. He's a stud and great addition.

with our draft picks in the last two years we have gone away from smaller do it all backs and taken bigger backs.

we have gone for larger guards as well

we went all in on a Mobil QB

we have been moving a new direction, this feels like a step back…also not complaining about a step back

i loved the Breada and Mostert backfield with Jimmy a quick release run the play kinda QB…

the Falcons offense is where I thought we were heading…now…who knows

The Falcons offense is nothing to aspire to. Kyle is simply adjusting, the Pats in the Superbowl vs Rams showed how to defeat a consistent OZ attack, all Kyle wants is the ability to effectively run the football in a variety of ways.

CMC can only help that.

I think you're dead wrong about the Falcons offense.

with every team focused stopping the pass linebackers as we used to know them have disappeared.

they have been replaced by big safeties

a power run team would destroy current defenders.

we have been moving in that direction our last two drafts

CMC is a great back, no doubt, but he's no Emmit Smith or Frank Gore.

I think the Mike Alstot Buccaneers would be unstoppable against today's defenses.

I'm not saying we were going full Alstot, but the Falcons offense is the future

Now we just need to find the people who said they would eat a turd if this trade happened. Who has the search skills ?

Don't get CMC, but get OBJ...no injury risk there.

You're kidding right, OBJ is coming off a torn ACL lmao

Uhhh, it's called sarcasm........
Obviously excited to have his talent on in the team. But, we all know shanny makes average RB's all pro's. Not saying he is average, just with the style we run, no pun intended. And with already trading away the top picks for TL, and now middle picks for CMC, is it a smart move, to trade away the rest of our draft basically, for a position we already get great production from?
Imo, I am "meh" on the trade, not mad or super stoked. I'm am more anxious to see how Shanny can scheme him into the offense, and how he will help open this offense up a little. Defenses are definitely taking the deebo run threat away this year. Misdirection with those two, should be fun to watch.

How many snaps does he get this Sunday?

I knew you were gonna pick out that wilson play. Great moment. My point is that a play like that is less likely to happen cuz its "key on me" cmc not mr nobody jeff wilson. Having another fantasy all pro makes it less likely to call plays for unattended unknown players.

The trade is done. Well see what happens.

Huh? So what teams weren't keying on CMC in NC? Cool key on him and leave Deebo/Kittle/BA. Kyle can and will scheme up CMC vs a LBer which is a massive advantage. Go re-read what they were doing in camp with the Jet. Now add steroids to it.

I don't think people are able to envision what having CMC will do for the offense …even when HE DOESN'T GET THE BALL!
Could be the best back we've had since Frank.
