And that has been precisely the problem
with this offense. Any hiccup and the whole thing melts down. And Jimmy cannot carry a team. He needs the team to carry him because he is limited and prone to moronic mistakes.

Saving grace is that aside from the game in Mexico they don't leave the west coast all season now. The schedule is really helpful, as none of the teams left in the schedule are anywhere near as good as the Chiefs. It's a wide open NFC and NFC West in particular.

Just get in the playoffs, and NFC can be won.

They'll lose the SB to the Chiefs/Bills, but NFC can be won.

The 49ers just sent 4 picks for a running back. Maybe trade for a QB instead?

Hard to trade for a QB when your starter for 2023 is on IR. There's no rental QBs for this season available to trade for that would make any difference.
