SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 2022 Game 7

a clone of Patty mahomes, in our offense, would have lost by 20 tonight. The chiefs caught the ball, didn't kill themselves with penalties, had much better playcalls on offense and defense….and f**k our special teams coach.

we f**king sucked. Jimmy sucked, but he's not the reason we lost fellas.

Perhaps a little extreme, but, none the less, an accurate description of that exhibition!
The offense this season is 54.5% in the redzone. In games we lost it is 50%. That is not anywhere good enough.

Watching the chiefs dancing in the locker room

They should. Was a complete dismantling

How sad. They're probably laughing after what they did to us in the SB only to follow up with the debacle today. Sad day in Niner lore folks.
It's going to be a real ray of sunshine around here this week.

Seattle is now in 1st place. And people thought I was crazy.

I've gained a lot of respect for Pete Carroll this year. And I almost vomited typing that just now. He knows players that fit his system.

Ban this dude

He's still my least favorite coach of all time, calm down.

Yeah our redzone offense is straight garbage.

I was thinking CMC might have helped in that area but not much he could do standing on the sideline.

We were 2 of 5 in the redzone today.
2022 - 2 gaes BTB on east coast, stayed in WVm lost first game at home
2021 - 2 games BTB on east coast, stayed in WV, lost first game at home
2020 - 2 games BTB on east coast, stayed in WV, lost first game at home
2019 - 2 games BTB on east coast, stayed in WV, barely beat PIT first game at home

It's common to struggle with this pattern, just like today. This was a tough game, for sure, and we got whipped. Let's hope it turns into Steve Young's eagles game back in the day that creates that spark going forward. Nobody is winning them all, and most probably had this game as an "L" at the beginning of the season anyway. Get back on track next week vs LAR, get that bye, then lets see what happens. Season isn't over today. We control our path. Just stay faithful, believe, and good things will happen.

That could be a huge mistake. This is his 6th year already. Is time to to do a deep dive and not be blinded by the Shanahan name.

When even the Giants are 6-1, you really have to think about the difference in coaching.

You want to compare KS/JL to a giants team that's had exactly one good month in 5 years?

you are just being emotional now

You haven't been doing your homework. The Giants have changed their HC. Is starting to work. May be Brian Daboll is legit. Shanahan is not what you think he is.

Or you look at the Chiefs. This is what Andy Reid built. And is more than just Mahomes. But, just in case you want to talk about Mahomes, it was also Shanahan who didn't want to draft him, we had the No.2 overall pick. Bad decision-making has consequences.

As many mistakes that Jimmy made he wasnt the reason we lost this. This game is totally on the D. They were a turnstile out there. The only bright point the D had was the INT early on. Every other drive was abysmal. Lucky there is no where to go but up after such a pathetic performance.

When you're playing a team as good as the Chiefs, you basically need to keep up with them. They're going to get their points and you need to match them (see the game KC had against the Rams a few years ago).

Every time you fail to match them, it gives KC another chance to score, which they gladly take advantage of.

Jimmy isn't capable of leading an offense like that.

There's no excuse for a team with the offensive talent we have to continue to be so terrible.

You contradict yourself. You are 100% correct our QB is who he has always been and not capable of taking command of the offense and scoring TD's consistently.

So there is an excuse to be so terrible, our QB is at his ceiling and why he was on his way out.

This loss isn't just on JG but many people on the board need to temper their expectations that JG will elevate to a top 10 QB and play at a higher level than he is capable of, especially if the team ever gets down a few points.

JG is better than what's his face we cut for Purdy, but he's who he is and all we got to ride with at QB until next year, unless they let Purdy start but he doesn't have the experience to be better than JG, although I think he has more athletic ability.
Something needs to happen with us being 3-4 with the amount of talent we have. The opening drive after halftime was also embarrassing. We're just terribly coached and we need someone who brings the best out of players and not trying to be one of the homies. Seems like Kyle is more concerned about his hat selection.

Already having fun here.
Y'all crying about the offense but Demeco Ryan and his defense couldn't do s**t to stop the Chiefs offense. f**k this DEFENSE!!
