Couldn't sleep. This horrible performance really got to me. This team is bad for my mental health

I stopped watching at halftime. As soon as Jimmy threw that pick before half I knew it was over. I got better things to do than watch trash that does nothing more than ruin my weekend. I'll do it again next week. Watch until half and if the same s**t continues I'll turn it off.

f**k this trash. I'm glad I don't pay for directv or nfl plus. Not worth the stress or headache.

Biggest differences in this game. KC connected on several deep passes and were highly efficient in the redzone. We had no deep game and sucked in the redzone.

They had 10 explosives and not one was a deep shot over the defense.

That's a LOT of blown coverages, no pass rush, poor tackling and penalties that extended drives.

Our offense was the opposite of this, like you noted.

This was a total team collapse in the 2nd half. Once again this team blows it's wad in the 1st quarter and tries to hang on for a win. I don't know what the problem is but it's a definite issue.

The first drive the Niners looked great. They went down the field like they were going to make a real game out of it. Up 10 points early and then almost nothing for 3 quarters. Outscored 44-13 the rest of the game. Kyle needs to figure out how to counterpunch when the other team makes halftime adjustments because this scenario plays out too often.

A 10 point lead is the 49ers/Shannahan kryptonite. Once I seen a 10-0 lead I knew we were screwed.

It's almost like Shannahan is scared to just try to run up a score. Settling for FGs was not gonna work against a behemoth offense like the Chiefs. Kyle knew this from the Super Bowl. Did he learn his lesson? Nope

I think this now makers it 0-26 for Kyle when trailing by more than 5 points going into the 4th. They flashed a stat that said he was 1-36 or something like that when trailing by more than 3. Clearly he isn't good at coaching from behind.

Meanwhile we have the gum chewer up in Seattle who loses his QB that's lead them for 10 years and loses his defensive leader (Wagner) and he finds a way to make Geno Smith look good. Seattle is now leading the division.

You expect any less from someone who beats women?

Why does he think theyre so special? We had already lost to Justin Fields, a broken down Wilson, and Mariota.

Ugh, thanks for pointing that out.
We have such a hard time defending screens, whenever I see us get torched by a screen I wonder why we don't run screens.

Then we do, but not to the success of other teams, and I realize that they're just overly effective against us.

This loss is on the defense. Sure the offense could have done more but the defense didn't do anything in the second half. For the 49ers to win with that kind of defensive performance, the offense would have had to score touchdowns on every second half possession and that's unreasonable. It seemed as though Ryans wanted to play more man coverage and I think it's to defend against KC's RPO game (RPOs are used to attack zone). But it's hard to disguise man coverage and Mahomes made all the good throws to beat man coverage.

Bosa looked really bad getting ran around on those jet sweeps, but that's a scheme related weakness. The DL is so focused on getting upfield that KC let them run right by and out of the play. Ryans simply got worked all day long. Not too much shame since Mahomes and Reid are two of the best, damn it hurt to watch.

Good coaching matters.
At the end of the day, it came down the trenches and QB. That's pretty much the formula to winning. Win the battle in the trenches on both sides, and have a playmaker at QB.

We gave an elite QB WAY MORE time to throw yesterday than we gave our middle-of-the-pack, limited QB who was under enormous pressure all day. He eventually choked, and our defense choked some humungous third down opportunities.

Ryans got embarrassed.

It didn't even look that hard, honestly.
