SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS vs KANSAS CITY CHIEFS - 2022 Game 7

Much like last year, this team also collapsed against a Colt McCoy led Cardinals team and that was the absolute low of that season too. Then they went on a run afterwards and started winning.
KC put on a clinic. Up field blocking on screens and sweeps was flawless. Gotta give KC all the credit, they are a damn good team and they came to play
Jimmy wasn't good, but the D was horrible. It looked like they just gave up. Ward let that WR just run right by him. Warner left the middle of the field wide open. It was bad.
Armstead and Kinlaw were what was making this D look good. Without them teams are running all over us opening up the pass as well. Its too bad those guys are made of glass. Now that its been a few years, that Buckner trade was not good.

Armstead's absence is looking to be a huge loss. That push up the middle really complimented the edge pressure. Now offenses just chip Bosa and no one else can win their 1 on 1 with any kind of consistency.
The final score looks terrible, but this game was fairly close until 12:48 in the 4th Quarter. That 3rd and 11 did the Niners in. Had we stopped them there, the defense starts to believe and kills the Chiefs momentum.

I mean the Niners aren't even fully healthy, and the offense put more than 20pts. Can you imagine when we finally start to get out groove? So much doom and gloom and alot of season to play

We've been waiting to get our groove for the past 3+ years. It went missing after the Saints game in 2019. Don't hold your breath…

I noticed multiple Chiefs players were doing that finger roll thing that Kittle does. The disrespect.

Reid learned the screen game from Holmgren in the 90s. I remember the Packers being dominant in the screen game as well.

The offense is pretty healthy now. I know Williams was out but he's back now. 23 points against the 25th ranked defense that allows 24.6 per game is nothing to brag about when you think you're a SB team. Giving up 44 is an even bigger issue. At least they won't need to go through ther Chiefs, Bills or Bengals to get to the SB. All the good young QBs are on AFC teams.
I'm still seething about this game

There were multiple times KC brought the house on a blitz and it seemed like a good opportunity to throw a short pass to one of the YAC Bros for yards. If the playcall had no hot for Jimmy to get rid of the ball then that's a very specific fail on Kyle's part.
